It's simple. If you have a disability that means you need to use disabled parking spaces, then get a blue badge. If you don't then don't use the spaces provided for blue badge holders.
But those spaces aren't just for blue-badge holders (that would be illegal) they are for anybody with a disability, blue-badge holders or not.

It does give her the right!. shows how ignorant you are of the benefits system. :rotfl:

I have been to the CAB who helped me apply for DLA and they were the ones who suggested I could get a car based on my social anxiety type2 disorder.

your wife would just need an assessment.

So I'm paying my taxes to fund your car so that you don't have to go near people. Well with that attitude I shouldn't think people want to be near you anyway.

You do not need a blue badge to park in a disabled space in a supermarket.

I think that is about as simple as I could make it - Tim if you are still having trouble understanding that I'll see if I make it any simpler, but I may struggle.

P&C spaces have no basis in law at all. They are just a marketing ploy by the supermarkets, just like loyalty cards or BOGOFS.

As I said I do not personally know anyone who is able bodied and uses disabled spaces without a need to. If you have read this, and other threads, you will know that you do not need a blue badge to park in one of the spaces of course.

Recently I visited a workplace with one disabled space. Someone who did not need it parked there as the next nearest space was about an extra minute walk away and up an incline with an awkward kerb. Guess where the next visitor, a badge holder, parked? Maybe if there were penalties in such parks the person with the disability would get the space.

Power to the 'invoicers' I say.

I paid my taxes, 4 years whilst serving my country. Ive seen things by the time I was 20 that your unlikely to see your entire life. Without my ptsd medication I could become anxious and even dangerous to others (without realising). it upsets me to come back and the country is in this state with such narrow minded attitutdes.
