Parking ticket in Asda car park - Is this legal, can they take me to court?

I wasnt happy with the stigma any longer, I gave it to my non disabled friend who just finished uni with me and started work in a small law firm. (needs it as parks in city centre and constantly on the move between business clients houses mostly inner city) - he offered cash for it but I turned it down, he said fine but if I ever need any legal advice I know where to find him, and true to his word I did one day quite soon later and I got some nice vouchers for being stopped by a security guard unlawfully after he wrote a firm letter to Hmv.
I assume your post is just stirring it for effect, as it has no value on here.We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Wrong again. It is illegal to discriminate between disabled persons, by treating a blue badge holder differently to a disabled person without one and in a preferential manner to the detriment of the non holder you breach the act.
Burry your pride and either use the sytem properly, or don't, but stop whining about it when you don't want to comply.
There are different levels of dissabilty, so it isn't discriminating against anyone.0 -
I can't see how it is a pain. Just park up - no problem
I don't any able bodied people who abuse the disabled parking spaces personally - do you?
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
you have no empathy
it grieves me that attitudes like this still exist. partly why I have hidden my disability from the stigma. I AM NOT DISABLED, IM A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY.0 -

Well you could be prosecuted, and you and your friend should be.0 -

The Blue Badge Scheme does not apply to off-street car parks, private roads and at most airports.
:- DirectGov
The DDA 1995 requires reasonable adjustments to be made for any disabled person
who is disadvantaged by an employer’s or a service provider’s arrangements because
of their disability. In this report we have assumed that any disabled people who are
disadvantaged by parking arrangements are Blue Badge holders, and so can use
Blue Badge spaces, but this may not be the case and therefore, technically,
employers and service providers who provide parking solely for Blue Badge holders
may still be in breach of the DDA. :- Mayor of LondonWhat part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

There is no stigma attached to being dissabled. You are just being paranoid.
If you can get by without using the scheme, then I'd suggest that you didn't need it anyway.0 -

As you obviously do not know how the system works perhaps you should back out now before spouting off more "facts":rolleyes:We all evolve - get on with it0 -

there is stigma against people with disabilities I can get by but I have the right to claim everything im entitled to whether I use it or not. For example my DLA motability grant for a car - YES i could probably use public transport but my illness means I cant stand being to close to people - under your flawed logic I should give my car up. :rolleyes:0
