I've completed my Housing Association Applications and put the reason for needing to be rehomed as "being unable to accommodated my mortgage and entering vol repo process". I have no idea how much housing !!! rent is, but if its a lot cheaper than private rent, then presumably I'll have more disposable income and won't need to go bankrupt but enter into some sort of payment plan? Anyone got any thoughts on this? Also, do I tell HA of BR prospect now (CCCS says its best cours of action now, but down the line it might not be). I'm more confused than I was so any advice I would be grateful for. Cheers!

Oh god Rubie, hate it when people say this type of thing.. could be .. could be not.best course of action. Rubie would you not be better to go BR now, I know how harsh this is to sort out, and I wish you well on whatever you decide, but also hope you get some answers from HA like SOON.

Hi Rylynn - how are you?

sorry to give a bit of grief! Its just I had my CCCS pack today which states best course of action is BR, but I can't get my head around the house 'thing'! I know it could be some months before actual repossession, but by then I will be BR (presumably). ANd by then I will have also saved some money from not paying the mortgage and CC DDs, so how will the OR view that, especially if I do get into HA and the rent is cheaper? HOw does the house get wrapped up in BR? (sorry if there's been delay, I've typed twice and computer/network crash, so somewhere there could be 3 versions of this message:) )

Hello hope you are all well.... Just wanted to drop in and say that I've been to see a house that is perfect for us! (The Landlord doesn't even mind dogs!!!) Its a bit further out than I originally wanted to go, but beggars can't be choosers... I have decided to be completely honest with the Agent and tell her about my current situation - after all, I spose they can only turn me down? Just feeling a bit too excited about the new house - keeping my fingers and everything else crossed!!!

Hi FYP!!! Hope you are well....

Yes!!!!! Am so excited!!!! I went to see the Agent today and told her my current position, she had a chat with her Manager, then rang the Landlord and he appreciated the honesty and is fine about it!!!! I feel like a massive weight has been lifted, am so pleased...... I am so happy, I keep forgetting I've got the other hurdle - but for tonight, I will try to not remember it!!! Have secured it with the Agency fee and still have to go through the checks, but at least it's out in the open and not lurking in my background.
