Congratulations on your new arrival:j
How did you fund payment, when did you file your dispute? and When you received your £150 what did the email from paypal say?
Without knowing the full details, here are some possibilites
When you purchased from ebay did you use the pay now link on the listing page (see other criteria in the link below to make sure you did meet the requirements) and you opened a dispute on or after the 30th September you should be entitled to a full refund.
You may have read that some of the buyers on this thread who opened their disputes after 30th September have been informed by paypal that the claims were found in their favour but as there were no funds in the sellers account they were unable to recover their money, unfortunately paypal has used the incorrect policy (Buyer Complaint instead of the Buyer Protection Policy) and after contacting paypal pointing out their error, I understand they have now received their refunds
If you opened your claim before the 30th September, as far as I am aware, you will only receive the cover shown on the listing which I believe was £150. If the latter paypal would only be able to recover the remainder of your £325 if funds were to become available in the seller's account. If this applies to your claim and the paypal payment was funded with a CC or Visa debit card contact your issuer and ask them to initiate a chargeback for the outstanding amount
If the seller sent you a request for payment invoice from paypal resulting in the transaction not being linked to the ebay listing or you sent money to an email address requested by the seller, you will have lost the right to Paypal Buyer Protection and your claim would have been handled using the Buyer complaint Policy- compensation would have depended on the amount paypal could recover from the sellers account - again if you paid by CC or Visa debit card contact your issuer and ask them to initiate a chargeback

Hi,
I too have been ripped off by discount buggies, i was furious when my pushchair did not arrive after 28 days. As i purchased it via ebay and paypal, i filed a claim with paypal immediatley, via their resolution centre. This was done on 21st october. Paypal gave discount buggies until 31st October to respond, well of course , they didn't. I then got an email on 2nd November saying that they had filed the claim in my favour but were unable to recover funds from the sellers account. I was going to give up, untill i read some of the comments on this forum about Paypal sending claims down the buyers complaint route, and not the buyers protection route. i decided this morning to ring up Paypal, i got put through to their claims department ans explained that i thought they had processed my claim along the wrong route, i spoke to someone called Alice, who although put me on hold for 10 minutes, she did agree that my claim should have been put through via their buyer protection policy and refunded me £69.99 whilst i was on the phone. For any of you who are out of pocket, don't give up, ring them, as i think their trying it on so they can avoid paying out. If tis is the case, i think there as bad as discount buggies. I,m sure Watchdog would love this, don't you all agree ? i think we should tell them, and they can see for themselves all the comments that have been made on this site, about discount buggies and the fob offs from paypal. Let me know what you all think. Good luck to any of you trying to get your money back, don't give up.0 -

Well done at getting your money back!! A few of us contacted watch dog at the beginning of the series but no response yet. You could give it a go!! We all contacted the police and they are looking into it, as are trading standards.
