Will just have to wait and see , seriously I can understand why people think its a scam , it does look that way but for me it was only £100 and I will get it back either from Paypal or VISA chargeback so I am not worried in that aspect .

Hi All, (apologies for having similar user name to Natalie1974!). We too are having concerns over a 'purchase' we have made with this company. We paid via Google,who then withdrew their services from the shop site and refunded our money. Then we found the Ebay shop had been 'cleared'. We emailed the Guy who also told us that it will be delivered on Oct 8th between 3pm to 5pm, and we are in Essex! Surely they can't be delivering to everyone within the space of 2 hours??!! I really hope i'm wrong but i will be furious if we are all being conned! Plus, they are not listed as an approved dealer on the Maclaren Website, although they state on the discount buggies website that they are approved?!! HHmmmmm . . .

Just don't know what to think as when I spoke to him the other day and asked him what courier they use he said DHL , who I know for sure do not give you a 2 hour delivery window , yet on the Ebay listings they say they use their own drivers . I bought mine on the 12th Sept so the 8th October is just within the 28 day delivery timescale . I wonder if anyone here is "up north" and can ask them the same question , when will theirs be delivered and see if they get the same answer . Oh f**k knows , excuse my language !

ETA : Nat1979 , where in Essex are you ? My delivery is going to Gillingham , Kent .

I should have checked more carefully before buying a (<£100) buggy from him, and became suspicious once I looked into it afterwards. At that point I realized that the name, address or phone number seemed to be somewhat questionable, so I requested a refund via email.
By the time I had a reply, I had contacted Paypal who rapidly resolved the situation by processing the refund. The mail I got from Emmanouil requested that I leave positive feedback before being given a refund (which other buyers indeed seem to have done).
There remains a small chance that the operation is legitimate, but for me there were far too many inconsistencies.

Nat1974, I live near Chelmsford. I too thought the 2 hour delivery slot was a bit suspect, and as you say, it states they use their own drivers! Also, when our google transaction was refunded, and we were requested to pay via paypal, the item had been removed from Ebay anyway! I emailed and asked him for a number to contact him on, and he just ignored the request and said the order was already processed. I just want the damn buggy now!!! Lol

I think, like you, I may just wait and see if the buggy turns up or not. I really am unsure about the whole thing now. On one (very big!) hand, it all seems completely dodge, but on the other (teeny weeny) hand, it seems like he's going to a lot of 'effort' for someone who is being suspected of a scam! I'd half expect a 'fraudster' to run a mile at the first sign of trouble!?!

Exactly , I just can't make my mind up either !

I'll keep my eye on here and see if anyone from 'up north' has been given an estimated delivery time. I wonder if DHL could confirm if they deal with a company of this name?? It's a thought!

I don't think they would divulge that information , customer confidentiality etc , unless there is a DHL insider on here :rotfl:
