If anyone else contacts the buyers on ebay through the scammers feedback if they post up who they have contacted, this will prevent us contacting them on numerous ocassions and also ensure that everyone has been informed. :T0

Since then I have emailed them several times and had no reply, thats when I started doing some research and found it was a scam.I have contacted Paypal about a refund, and im still waiting to hear from them.I still have all the emails I have sent Discount Buggies and the 2 replies I had from them if you need them. Thanks so much for all your help on here guys, lets just hope they catch this scumbag and we all get our money back!We live and learn eh?xxx0 -
I have email the police, had an email back to call them, have called them and left my number and the person who has took the case is going to call me back to get more details.
I too had a few emails go between me and discount buggies, I have kept all these just in case,0 -
I read it to mean that you only get the level of protection that showed on your individual auction when you bought. So if it was just showing £150, that is considered basic protection only and is not a guarantee of a full recovery of funds. However, if paypal do not come through then anyone who paid by a credit card, or some certain visa debit cards can then do a chargeback via the card company.
It is always best to wait until paypal finish their rumblings first though.
Thanks! I went to my bank today (Nationwide) to ask them about the charge back option (I paid with visa debit card). They told me that because I paid via paypal they are not able to charge back the funds I paid, I need to deal directly with Ebay and Paypal(
I emailed Met police yesterday and they called me within 2 hours! How efficient! Its a very good sign as it looks like they took this case very seriously!0 -
I am not so familiar with Ebay as used it only 4 times. I would love to help you emailing people who left negative feedback but no idea how to find the link. I was trying to leave negative feedback myslef but I am not able any longer.
This is the message I get:
This Listing Is UnavailableThis listing (320302439819) has been removed or is no longer available.
If the listing was removed by eBay, consider it cancelled. Note: Listings that have ended more than 90 days ago will no longer appear on eBay.
Let me know how and I will do my best to help)

call your bank and ask to speak to the fraud dept, you can charge the items back its not rel, that its been brought through ebay and paypal. I have done this a few times in the past were i have trusted sellers and its past the 40 day claim period with paypal and with no or little response from the seller the bank issued a chargeback took a few weeks but I got my monies back..
