If you paid through pay pal you nned to put in a claim. You also need to email hillingdon police station as they are dealing with this now and the more people that contact them the better. if you look on the previous page I think you will find the email address for the police station. Chin up!

  • I know how you feel Claire. Its my first child too but I'm ermmm abit older!!! Lol! I feel a fool too but just remember your are not the only one!! I think There is about 20 people on this site alone that have said they have fallen for this scam. On ebay its more like 120 and then there's the website which we have no idea how many sales have been made. The website looked genuine to me and I contacted him before i purchased, so thought it was all ok. It has helped being on here. there is alot of support and people are trying to do things. With determination we will get somewhere.:A

    Right I emailed natshorses , pirateadamson , mrscbq , hen17283 , mirza_a . I too am only allowed 5 emails .

    However some people are selling stuff so have managed to email them through their listings , they include smithtilf , *shoperholic* , superswanner , robert197 , 8263clark , nicholls8125 , debz232 , nuttynoo1981 , rutter6633 , monster_munch2005 .

The rest of the feedback are from the refunds . So I have managed to email 15 people .
Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
    Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

  • I've been following this from the OP and even though I have never bought anything off this scammer, would like to help if at all possible.

I can't remember if this has already been suggested but has anyone thought about contacting the people who sold him stuff.
    http://www.goofbay.com/ebay_bid_history_tool.html?gbl_username=discount-buggies-online&gbl_days=120&gbl_show_sellers=on&gbl_submit=&gbl_submit.x=63&gbl_submit.y=13

The information provided by these people might just help in discovering if the scammer has another address, paypal account, email address, name etc etc.

I agree with Soolin that this scam has been premeditated.
He registered with the name www-discountbuggies-co-uk and bought baby related items.
Registering with that name shows that he intended to sell buggies from the start.
I also think it's a little strange that he has bought baby related stuff but has never sold those items on as far as I'm aware.
Are these items for his own personal use?
If so maybe he's not a student but has a family and if so surely that would make it easier to trace and harder for him to flee?

All information regarding him does need to be collated as the more we have on him the more we can dig up.

I really feel for you all and the sooner he gets caught the better.

    P.S
I've also found a sponsored link belonging to his website on NexTagUk and have contacted them pointing out his scams, this thread, his Ebay account and also with a request to take him off their site.

    P.P.S
It might have already been removed previously as the above was viewed via the Google cache pages.

Hi all . . . . .sorry i've not been 'about' for a bit (i'm working full time and take my 5month old daughter with me!), but a lot seems to be happening since I last looked! I will crack on with emailing hillingdon police, it sounds promising that some of you have actually been contacted by them! Well done to those who have contacted other e-bayers. The more people we can gather up, the merrier I say! I so so so so so so so hope we get him!!
