You can contact up to 5 ebay users a day to let them know what is going on regarding action against this seller. The problem I found is that when I sent out "warning" emails to quite a few buyers, I got responses along the lines of "what do I do now" and "how do I go about raising a dispute" etc etc. These are innocent citizens being ripped off and need assistance from many of the likes that are on here to help with a bit more "experience" to assist. (many have probably never been scammed before) If we can contact all the buyers through the scammers feedback on ebay and let them know of this thread along with the email addy and phone number of hillingdon police station. Im sure they will be only too glad of advice/assistance - pointed in the right direction, why should you just "write it off" as a bad experience. I cannot believe only FIVE people have contacted the police. I would gladly contact them on every one of your behalfs if it means catching this crook and getting you refunded. Remember we have no sight of any buyers from his website !!!
CALL HILLINGDON POLICE STATION TODAY (OPEN 24/7)
THE OFFICER DEALING WITH THE CASE IS DETECTIVE SGT JONES FROM UXBRIDGE POLICE STATION.

I have just emailed teh met police. Sorry it took me so long! I have also checked the paypal status and it says that they are still waiting for the response from the seller.
Soolin - did I get this right what you wrote? The new Paypal rulles that you are fully protected are only valid if the seller had full protection?
The “This item is fully protected when you pay with PayPal” message is displayed in the seller listing information. The “This item is fully protected when you pay with PayPal” message is displayed in the seller listing information.
Our lovely ''seller'' had only £150 protection so I don't think it apply to us?
When the new rulles came live?
I read it to mean that you only get the level of protection that showed on your individual auction when you bought. So if it was just showing £150, that is considered basic protection only and is not a guarantee of a full recovery of funds. However, if paypal do not come through then anyone who paid by a credit card, or some certain visa debit cards can then do a chargeback via the card company.
It is always best to wait until paypal finish their rumblings first though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Im only 22 with my first child i feel such a fool..........!!!!!!!!!!!
How did you pay..I doubt if there is any way at all you can get your money back outside of paypal but someone might have an idea for you.
I do hope so.
Sorry I just saw this:Claire-irm wrote: »I have just found this out too on here!! I unfortunately purchased a m&p 3 wheeler 20 days ago for£100, i payed using my meastro card...... Can anyone help make things seem better for me at the moment i cant see a way out of this.... will i get my money back because the chances of getting my pushchair seem very bleek!
Did you pay the scumbag direct or did you just pay via a third party website. if you paid direct then report the fraud to your bank immediately, they can't get your money back but there is an outside possibility that a court case will if they can catch this bloke.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
