well, I've called Sky twice - today and last week - firmly saying I want to cancel as the outgoings are too high and they have offered me nothing
any tips?0 -
Did you speak to the right department?
I think its unusal for them not to offer at least a bit.
I am about to call on the 25th... they better offer something...0 -
yes I definitely went through to the cancellations department. I think I read somewhere its better to try on tues or wed - so will try again tmw and see if I get anything!0
-
yes if you let them know its purely for financial reasons rather than the quality of the programming then they are more likely to offer you the half price dealsquaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!! :money:0

I am more successfull when I actually let them know, that I like Sky and would love to keep it, but cant afford.
They go through various choices, for you.0 -
Had a lady on the phone and she offered me nothing! Nothing what so ever, apart from the Sky+HD Box for £30.
I am currently getting 25% discount on All Ent-Packages, Sports and ESPN (40 quid in total).
So from 25th of March I am going up to 50 Quid and the lady wasnt bothered at all....
Tried again... nothing available! They said that there are currently no deals available!0 -
Called Sky yesterday and asked how much I'd save by cutting out the Movies and Sports, was told £25.50, but then offered a discount of £9.70 a month for 6 months.0

Sky seem to be offering free HD boxes and free installation at the moment. I just ordered the upgrade yesterday. The only extra cost is the £10 per month HD subscription and a 12 month contact. Fill your boots!!!0
