Sports 1 2 3 extra 4 mix. £28 a month
I quoted that tiscali is offering sky sports for £26.50The measure of love is love without measure0 -
Wow, I've just found this site and realised how much Sky is ripping me off! I originally was only looking for movies, premier league games and NHL ice hockey... which I later found out is only through NASN (Sentanta)!!
Here's my current package: I have a standard sky box and every mix but the Music Mix. Also, my line rental is through BT, 11 pounds a month.
Monthly TV Cost 45.00
Montly Broadband Cost 10.00
Monthly Talk Cost 5.00
Total 60.00
Any advice for me when trying to wangle a lower sky package price. I heard I could get a free Sky+ upgrade. Is that true?0 -

Yeah, not a cheap way of getting a TV service which is just a DTT box for Freeview channels and extra functioning to stream content from the internet service and you have to pay per programme for it or monthly extra fees. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Having been hanging on for 15 mins to Sky cancellations, got an excellent result!
For a one off charge of £49 (instead of £159) I've got the sky plus box, phone with all free calls and free line rental for a year, saving £11.50 plus about £10 a month calls)) free 16 mg broadband (saving £14.99 for 2 MB from AOL) All for £15 a month- £20 a month saving plus Sky + box!
And a very nice man to chat to as well :T0 -
Can someone offer me some advice please? I'm currently on the £27 Sky Broadband 16mb Max, Sky Talk and Sky TV (2 mixes which are music mix and variety mix).
I've been on this package for about 15 months and I know I can haggle this down.
My dilema is, I want to discard my Sky 16mb Broadband as I can get the O2 20mb Broadband for £7.50 a month (as my sister works for O2). Basically the O2 20mb Broadband for £7.50 a month is a good deal for me and I would be getting a faster connection.
What are my options trying to a good deal on the Sky TV mixes and Sky Talk only?0 -
but i'm not prepared to pay for it. i would have bought the sky+hd for 75 quid but they then tell you that you have to pay £10pm for the hd mix.
So they want you to pay
£75 for box
+£10 pm for hdmix which totals
£195 to buy the box outright is only £150? how is that a good deal.
i have the full top whack package at £47 you'd think that surely i'd get some sort of incentive to stay with them, we don't even get satanta in our sky packages.
makes my blood boil sometimes0
