monstermind wrote:Unfortunately this deal is for former customers only, to encourage them to re-subscribe. If you'd like to get a deal on your package, you'll need to call to cancel (see previous posts for what's currently on offer.)
For ex-customers only who'd like the deal, (a free grade "a" sky+ box, free install, 6 months 1/2 price), call 08706 080410 and quote "Autumn 1". Taking sky+ ties you in to a 12 month contract, but if you prefer you can just take the 6 months 1/2 price deal on its own (no contract, just give 30 days notice to cancel)
how long do u have to of been an ex-customer for??? also how long does the deal last for???0 -

The re-instate deals offered in post #1098 are available until 28 September. It doesn't matter how long you've been away from sky, but the cards were only sent to customers who left in the last 3 years.0 -

Thank you so much for the Autumn 1 code. I cancelled at the start of the summer as no football on sky and they wouldn't give me any more 3 month half price deals.
I couldn't lose my SKy+ though so kept that for £10 a month
I hadn't recieved anything ask me to come back and was getting worried. until the offer you told us about. I'm now on the 6 months 1/2 price, no contract with sports for £17 a month, only £7 extra.
Thank you again.
And a tip - if you still have just SKY+ only, you are still counted as a ex-customer.0 -
thanks for the reply monstermind.
reason i asked was because my mother has not long given her 30 day notice due to the high prices and she wasn't offered no deals what so ever which is a shame and i was hoping that she could wait till the end of her 30 days notice and sign up for the half price with no tie-in contract.0 -
Any one know if the offer for returning customers means that they will fit the dish again. kinda got took down ?0

Now when we first signed up to T'West the basic TV came free with the phone line and then gradually they started charging for the now re-named Starter package TV service.
So I phoned them up and said that we'd originally signed up when the TV was free and could we downgrade to the new Free TV package. As we also have cable internet from them (Blueyonder), the nice lady said yes.
We now save £66 per year just by dropping a few crap channels that we don't watch anyway but still keeping what we do like.:D
Hi, I came across this offer a couple of days ago, seemed too good to be true, have just signed up my parents for this-All you have to do is take a phone service, (£11.00 a month with free weekend calls) and you get FREE cable TV.
Installation is usually £25, but if you sign up on-line, it's only £15 & you get to keep your old BT number.
This is excellent, especially for those people who still can't get Channel 5!0 -
Hi, phoned up Sky yesterday after my second 3 months for 1/2 price offer expired. The best I was offered was 40% off for 2 months, this was after I had refused several inferior deals. Anyone had any better deals lately.
I have the Sky sports world package RRP £37.50.

Thanks to you all I have managed to get us (as an existing customer) a good deal with Telewest, and a saving of £22.51 compared to the old bill.
Talk eve and w-end + 4Mb Broadband + Supreme TV all for £34.99.
One thing though, did anyone downgrade their Broadband from 4Mb to 2Mb and noticed any difference? I'd like to downgrade as I could possibly save another £7 on the bill but do not want to get stuck with the slow connection.
Thanks again!0 -
Wondered if someone could help? Particularly MONSTERMIND who is an absolute wealth of great info!!!
We would like to get SKY+ and are looking for the best deal. Reading all the posts I thought it would be a good idea to get onto a half price package first by threatening to cancel, before I went for SKY+.
I called yesterday and got 6 mix plus Sports for half price for 3 months.
I also called SKY+ customer services and they have offer it for £49 (box and installation) as long as I take multi-room at £10/month.
My question is:
1) Is that likely to be the best deal right now?
2) If I take this SKY+ deal now I'll then go onto £47.00/month after 3 months (ie £37 for 6 mix & sports plus multi-room £10), will I then be stuck on that package for the remaining 9 months? ie is it right for me to think I won't be able to reduce my package because I'd need to pay £10 for SKY+ subscription anyway (if I cut a preioum channel) and I won't be able to cancel multi-room because it's contracted for 12 months?
I noticed some people are getting 6 months half price plus free refurbished SKY+ box when they're ex-customers. Should I chance my luck and cancel SKY completey in the hope that they run another deal for ex-customers???
Or could I get a deal on SKY+ by threatening to cancel again???
Hope that makes sense
Thanks very much :beer:0
