It doesn't actually specify, but at a guess it's either an E1-1200 or E2-1800.

    It's the AMD E-300.

If one doesn't need such a large HDD, perhaps this Acer Aspire V5-531-967B4G32Makk for £229.99 after Cashback is worth a look, in conjunction with this Acer AcerAdvantage New Edition warranty upgrade for £31.99. So £261.98 in total.
AcerAdvantage New Edition warranty upgrade to 3 years pick up & delivery including accidental damage insurance

Free Help Desk for the entire warranty extension period. (excl. telephone costs)
    Repairs within 5 working days.
30% discount on the purchase of a spare battery for the registered computer when purchased directly from Acer customer service and by credit card.
Right to participate in special offers and promotions at authorised dealers
    For accidental damages coverage only:
Free repairs of accidental damages (for the breakdown of the display an European immunity of 100€ + taxes shall be paid).
3 years incl. International Travellers Warranty
  • It's the AMD E-300.

    I don't think so.

    Hi,

The processor of the Lenovo G585 15.6 Inch 1TB 4GB Laptop is either the E2-1800 or the E1-1200. Also, there are 2 x 3.0 USB ports and 1 x 2.0 USB port.

Hope this helps, thanks for using Argos Q&A

Does it have to be a laptop? Tablets do all of those things too.

I am none the wiser.... processors confuse the hell out of me as to what is better... do i need a great spec one for my non gaming usage.

So for £299 the Acer is better value but their reliability has been questioned?
