Hard Drive : 640GB Serial ATA (7200RPM)

Optical Drive : 8X DVD+/-RW Drive including software

I'd say it looks good, especially if the price includes delivery(£22). No HDMI connector I think. There is a risk with buying a refurb but th 12months warranty reduces that.0

Tricky. The equivalent (i3-350M) @Dell is £300 inc delivery. £65 difference? New vs refurb? Toss a coin? What's your budget? Thanks! What's the better one between the one above and this:

I think the Lenovo would be fine (good memory and disk) but it doesn't look as if its in stock...Henry_Blofeld wrote: »Any opinions on the pros and cons of these two? (Just need laptop for surfing web and MS Office, nothing flash)

My budget is about £350
I notice the main difference between the two (apart from the refurb issue) is that the Dekk has a slightly faster processor.
Any other suggestions for an i3 in this price range?0 -
I was (trying to) compare like for like. One of the Dell's has the same processor (this one if the link is still valid when you come to read this -> http://outlet.euro.dell.com/Online/SecondaryInventorySearch.aspx?rn=2827&SC=&c=uk&cs=ukdfh1&l=en&s=dfh)My budget is about £350
