Orange-OVP free upgrades

hmmm - i cant register for the site as ive lost my sim

They want £15 for a sim - but i would get one with the upgrade for free

What can I do?

I need a new phone as mine is receiving "corrupt text" so first i had to call them to get my customer number, then i tried to register but....I couldn't decipher the code they sent me ...so I put my sim in another phone...and the site is having technical problems..now you say the offer's closed...and I'm stuck with my stupid phone!

Is the free upgrade on Orange OVP Virgin still on. I got one but am about to visit a relative who knows little about phones but is on this plan.
I don't want to look a twit by getting her to register etc. etc. only to find it's finished. Cannot check myself as their system would obviously show a high cost as I have only just upgraded.
Anyone done it in the last couple of days??

I tried today and got a curt message about having to phone them instead (whereupon they would very probably tell me to get lost.) I had a look on same site about a fortnight ago and was offered about a dozen phones mostly expensive, but a few semi-reasonable bargains like free K300i. So yes I think they've got rid of it. Might just be that I don't spend much however.

My average spend is 11p per month and I have 3 phones so I don't think it is spend related. I think they have closed the offer.

If you have a phone on OVP login and try. Remember the loging and sign up is buggy. Just use the password you entered even if it says registration did not work. I did this and logged in and was able to get a phone.

If it is still working you should see some phones for free like the k300i, P&P is also free. Your contract must be kept for another 12 months but on OVP that does not cost.

I saw this when it was first posted, was very interested as our two phones are on OVP Virgin and whenever we've asked about upgrading we've been quoted ridiculous prices, so tried to register on the Orange site but needless to say it kept saying something about technical problems blah, blah.

Anyway one or two things happened and it completely slipped my mind until tonight. Managed to register online but it came up with the 'you need to contact us by phone etc.' So I've just done exactly that.

Guess what?

K300i = £120
SPV C550 = £225

Huge congrats to those that scored the free phones or the cheap SPVs and the green colour of my face is down to eating too many mince pies NOT envy :snow_laug
