    Mine too! Thanks to OP

I have 2 more on order from 2 days ago and 2 more to go :)

    BTW
My new K300i came with a new SIM my old SIM is very old and cut from a big credit card SIM the sides are not straight I cut it down to size myself, better than paying orange £30 for a new SIM. These old SIM have served me well....

Do I need to register the new SIMs?

This offer for orange OVP free upgrades is still running, I just ordered mine this evening.
Thank you to the OP, this was a great find. I have been on the OVP plan for about 5 years and never had a new phone before.

Thanks to the OP, I went for the free Nokia 6030, can these be unlocked via a code? Not sure which is the best free site for unlocking this phone?
    Seth.
  • Thanks to OP, 2 free phones arrived, both with £0.00 bills

    Good spot and good phones

The delivery not states the upgrade fee, i.e. £0.00. The bill for £49.99 was the cost of the handset.

This morning I received my K300i also with a new sim. Sorry to be a bit thick, why do we need a new sim, my old sim fits fine. I did not see anything about a £30 charge for a new sim. Although it did say to charge the phone and register it with orange. The paperwork that came with the phone confirms Virgin tariff.

Has anyone who received this offer changed sims and were you charged?
    Thanks for any advice.

There is a free Nokia unlocking thread at the top of this section of MSE, just ask Browntoa or drahcir, with IEME details as instructed.

    Payless,
I too upgraded to c550, delivered next day, delivery note said free on both cost and tariff. Next day an invoice for £49.99 arrived, so joy short lived. I thought mine might have been reduced to free because I am on Data Tariff and thought it might be worth a try. I got a t610 free on " Data Tariff" when they were the must have phones.

given the contract was not upgraded( eq virgin- a sim not for ages , but as they mucked me about recently , nicve to get something cheap ) and the delivery note is for the upgraded phone, then to be honest it does imply no cost for the phone , not that I am going to query it, as I was told it was £49.99 in the first place anyway

    dc...
I did not get a miniSD adapter ... did you ?

Have you managed to unlock yours ? ... mine was a bit awkward ( need to unlock for applications- had to use the edit registry program rather than the developer option .... then unlock phone) , but got there in the end
