Orange-OVP free upgrades

I think you get the mini adapter with a 512m card as Orange have been shipping the music edtion of the phone.

I went into an Organge store to look at the phone. Quite nice, menus are flat and not translucent, a bit like Windows 95, the chap in the store said these are the 7th edition of the smart phone so they don't crash and they have had no returns. My brother went to the the same phone and the chap in the store said they only had returns with the old models not the C550.

Let me know how you get on with it there is a free unlock for programs and SIMs posted earlier

There are new phones available for the upgrade now, many free and decent spec. Some for £9 and a bit more.

I decided to buy a Sandisk 64MB Mini SD from Ebuyer for £10.57 delivered, which should come with an adapter. Not quite as cheap as the adapter from Mobilefun, but I have a spare card that way.

Thanks for the link anyway. I may make use of it if Ebuyer dissapoint me. Their description does not list an adapter as being included, but everybody else seems to include one with the Sandisk, so I expect that they do too.

I got 3 Nokias free and unlocked them free using the nokia unlock thread on the mobile board! If got 2 K300i free will get them unlocked at the car boot Sunday unless it rains

I had some problems registering on the Orange site, but finally placed my order for 2 C550's on Friday evening. Had an e-mail to say they'll be delivered tomorrow (Tues).

Looks like the party's over! I tried to do a virgin ovp upgrade this morning & I got the following message

"We're unable to offer you an upgrade online.
Please call 0800 079 0169 where we'll be happy to help you.".

Oh well....

Yes I upgraded mine & swmbo's. They arrived as promised - very pleased, came with 512MB memory. I've got Tom Tom sat nav running on one.
