Just wondering if anyone bought a dress from there? I'm sooo skeptical being as there's no picture of the actual dress THEY make, just the Rodarte gown Natalie wore.

Did anyone order a pink gown- if so did the color match the swatch on the computer?

Please shed some light on this, only if you bought and received one though.

I would suggest that unless you have a personal recommendation from someone you know, it isn't worth the risk ordering a dress for a special ocassion from LightintheBox. I have ordered a dress for a wedding.... unfortunately before reading all the negative reviews and complaints about them. Though my order is not yet due for a couple of weeks, I have so far experienced awful service: a) they don't have an address, email or telephone, b) emailing though the website-I never received a response (after having paid). I then resorted to leaving a complaint on their Reviews and only then after 2 weeks of trying to contact them, I received a very generic email from them. In addition my review (negative though always polite) was removed!
In order to communicate with them regarding your order, they ask for your 'ticket' (with a ref number) -however, a customer cannot open a 'ticket' . That is only initiated by LightintheBox, they answer once and then 'close this ticket'. It is a nightmare, I have lost all confidence. Be careful.

I've just bought three bridesmaids dresses from lightinthebox and they are beautiful! We were let down by our first dress makers so needed dresses quickly but most importantly cheaply! The company were great with excellent communication, and they sent out the dresses over a week earlier than they originally estimated. Quality is excellent, both in terms of materials and workmanship. I'm sorry to anyone who has had problems but personally I've found that they have saved or wedding! On the labels on the dresses it says"delivering happiness" and for me certainly that is exactly what they have done

AVOID this site, unless you are prepared to pay over the odds in charges that are not made clear until you are stung. I ordered a £12 pound 'discounted' handbag. however postage on ordering turned out to be more than the cost of the bag. Accepted that somewhat reluctantly, as the bag was for a special wedding, but then on delivery, UPS wouldn't release the parcel until I paid the import tax of £4, plus their penalty charge of £11.25 for thier expenses because of the tax! The bag ended up costing me more than three times the purchase cost that Lightinthebox asked. I would NOT reccomend using this company. Beware!! I am obviously not the first person to fall foul of this, as when you look into their customer services, the information is actually there..but is not made clear at the time of purchase.

I can't doubt that the veil I ordered from there was decent quality, but like others, I got stung with a customs charge of more than the veil actually cost! Complained and got half back though, but won't be buying from them again.

i would advise you to stay well clear! i ordered from them but decided to cncel my order. they told me becuse it was more than three days form payment i would not get a refund. when the goods came i had to pay £74 for duty. i should have refused the package - now i am out of pocket £190 for the original purchase and £74 for duty and stuck with n item i dont want!!

Hmmm i see all the good comments are newbies, how odd . I did look into light in a box because my friend genuinly did recommend them, she got her wedding dress there but decided with all the bad reviews id stay clear and bought a dress here. Probably still made in china mind you.

First of all this company is from China.
If you are ordering from the UK- look out you will be hit with some high tax/customs fees.Fees will run you about: $20-$47.00 per order.I think you are OK if you live in the US.
Let me also warn you about RETURNS-you will be charged for shipping BOTH ways and a restocking fee(& u will never be able to recoup that money).
So make sure you buy something you know for a fact you are not going to return.Even if the product you ordered was delivered broke or the wrong item was sent to you, will still be out the shipping both ways.
In the past i have ordered bathroom faucets from Lightinthebox with no problem but i read many unhappy reviews that have ordered dresses.
In the future if i do order from China- i like to stick with a company that protects the buyer like AliExpreess.The seller does not get paid unless you are satisfied with your purchase.
