    I ve just seen this thread ,big hugs to you and your nephew.
    It was the hardest thing i ve ever done in my life to tell my two daughters that their dad had passed away.They were 10 and twelve at the time and I thought it would wreck there lives .They are still greiving for him as its only 18 months ago but they are happy and are living there lives.The way he would of wanted.
    You sound like a great aunty and support network for him,good luck to yous both,It does get a bit more bearable.
    Life is short, smile while you still have teeth :D
