no thats for wireless peripherals such as controllers and headsets ect. You need the one in the link from play.com Expensive but work really well.

he pm'd me his phone number and spent over an hour and a half on the phone talking my son and i through this.
He even rang us back when my husband shouted at son for not having his homwork done and to get off the computer.....lol
We are now up and running again with the wireless router and the laptops.

was it that long? didnt seem like it .
anyways glad its up and running (and you dont need to buy a new router).

If its anything like mine it can lose connection now and again (rarely) but it usually cures it with unplugging the router - leaving it for about 10 seconds and then plugging it back in again.

usually the settings should save when exiting the menu screens - (save and exit - which I think we did when we worked through it)..

But I can try to help you out again on Friday evening as I finish early.

Read the user manual and do what it tells you to do. Learn how to set up your own router and then you would not have had to wait since the 8th October.

don't worry niceday - we'll see if we can get it sorted over the phone - few friends and neighbours are having router problems too - ipod touches not connecting - laptop wont find network etc..

but don't have any coffee beforehand - it can wind you up :p
