If there is no chance of you getting a bigger council place, why don't you try your local council and see if they will give you a deposit for a bigger private rental place. You could then look around for a landlord that wants a long-term tenant which will give you and your family some stability.
Like Artful has said if your partner doesn't earn very much you may be able to get LHA to top-up your rent.
Whilst I'm not quite sure why you got pregnant again whilst living in a one-bed flat with 2 kids, I so think people are being harsh telling you to go out and work when your baby is only 6 weeks old! I know when mine were that tiny, there's no way I would've entrusted anyone to look after them for a prolonged period of time.0 -

Nail hit firmly on head; I'm equally puzzled, but such is life's rich pattern.
However, having been presented with this fait a complis, I can only assume that those suggesting the OP saunters gaily back to work have never had three children, particularly when one of them is only 6 weeks old.0 -
thankyou, but i really dont see how:)
Different authorities do things in different ways. I could give you pages of information covering ALL authorities, only a fraction of which would be of any use. Or I MAY be able to explain how things are done in your area and the best course of action for you to achieve some sort of resolution or progress.0 -
i dont see why people object to us needing social housing when my partner works full time.0

One question, chocs2010, what is your local authority...?
By avoiding answering this question that has been asked now a number of times, I feel that you are preventing yourself from getting the help you are looking for...thankyou,the point i am trying to get across is we pay rent, council tax and my partner works, and there are some people out there that do none of that and get helped:(
To be fair, that is irrelevant and not related to you getting the advice that you appeared to be looking for.
To assist the FMs here to help you with appropriate advice, you need to give a little..."Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."
Forum posts are not legal advice; are for educational and discussion purposes only, and are not a substitute for proper consultation with a competent, qualified advisor.0 -

I do all of that too, it's called being a responsible member of society.
If you really do want help please let Wee Willy Harris know who your council are, you could PM him if you don't want to post it. Like mufi, I don't necessarily agree with everything he says, but he does know his onions when it comes to social housing.

PS I think the reason some people are saying you should go to work etc, is because as someone who doesn't live in social housing we have had to limit our family to two children as although we'd both love loads more, we would have no room, our daughters have to share a room as it is. However, feel free to ignore all of us and concentrate on getting WWH to help you0 -

how do i know its safe to share this information?
You only need to give the name of your undoubtedly vast local authority, not your address or exact location. Look at some of WWH's previous posts if you doubt his integrity.
Whilst you know who you are, trust me, no one else does...0 -
how do i know its safe to share this information?
I'll share mine if you share yoursMy local council is........... Mendip, which means that I live in Somerset (no I don't drinnk cider or listen to the Wurzels
)
You've posted under a pseudonym and there must be loads of 3 children families people living in your council district in one bed flats.
WWH only wants your district council name, not your address. Tis safe, honest0
