Not everyone gets child tax credit, it is only for families earning less than about £50k a year.

we dont get handouts from the state

    I then politely asked
I accept fully your statement of no "handouts from the state". Could you kindly confirm no Child Benefit & no Working/or/Child Tax Credit, in line with your statement???

Sorry Chocs, you do get handouts from the state: I have sympathy for your overcrowding but at least we now have clarity on the handouts you get from the state...

Can we kindly please have confirmation of no HB/LHA???

    Regards

we dont get housing benefit, housing allowance or income support as my partner works full time:)

my children are very much looked after so please dont assume that money would be better off not going into there bank accounts for when they are older, child tax credit goes towards clothes they need, after school clubs and fun days out to legoland:):)

You might qualify for HB/LHA.. (until the govt makes the rules tighter..)

Bit of extra ££ might give you some more flexibility??

not as much as people that dont work, why is everyone so quick to knock you down when you are trying youre best:(
  • people seem to be looking at my situation and using me as some kind of target,im 26 years old and have been with my partner over ten years,we bring our 3 children{who we love more than the world}up in a very loving home,it just so happens that home is a small 1 bedroom flat:(
  • why dont we talk about the people who dont work and have about ten children they dont look after just to get a bigger house
  • unlike people on income support we pay full rent every week and we pay council tax,so i think as we pay our way its only fair we get helped
