Welcome Orrac, nightmare isnt it. Sounds to me like you deffo need to change agents, I would have a strong word with them and see if they will let you out of the contract, on the grounds that they have not lived up to expectations. If not you could consider going joint sole, perhaps.

Good luck guys. Tough time to sell.

If anyone has a sub-£100K property in Heaton Moor, Stockport, that isn't in terrible nick let me know - I'll be looking to move in the summer when our lease is up. We don't have much money but love the area.

(yes I know there are £500k properties in this area but there are also small flats)

hi PP (can I call you PP from now on;)),

yep, one booked in for tomorrow, though has gone very quiet, Frank Innes (our agents) are doing some kind of 'SALE' over the next 3 days with loads of advertising and marketing on their website, though not sure what this will achieve, but it is good to see them trying to generate interest in their properties during this difficult time.

i've got one offer on the table but it's subject to them selling, but you never know.... I've kinda given up stressing about it all now, it will happen when it happens IF it happens.

we've moved the business to kent now and have to drive from leics to kent every week, staying with parents and friends with a 9 week old babba in tow is tough and hard work, but we have little choice...

maybe we should start a website only for us sellers that have to sell, maybe we could just house swap or buy from each other and create our own chain and become all happy sellers...........(dream on Lisa!)

    Hi Lisa,
Been wondering how you have been getting on, yes its tough isnt it. Im still stressing about it! lol, but have decided to go away for two weeks over xmas.
Not decided to take that low offer that came in then I guess? The other offer you have recieved is higher, at least you still have interest thats good.

    Hi all,

Nothing for me it's depressing, hopefully things will get better after Christmas for all of us. I suppose no one wants to be looking this close to Christmas.

That's what we thought, but we've had four viewings this week! (all proceedable as we won't do viewings for anyone who is not proceedable now). Still no closer to an offer though and we've been on the market for 11 months and dropped the price by 22% (60k) already!! We are now the cheapest 4 bed detached house in the town but even so we no longer actually expect to sell. We'd be stunned if we did actually get an offer after all this time!
