Pawpurrs - hope you're feeling more together by the time you log in again tomorrow. Glad you're ok, cars can be fixed! I've had 4 more viewings this week - 2 of them repeats and the other 2 both want to come back in daylight. Trouble is, I don't think most of them will be able to come up with the cash, no matter how much they love the house
Oh well, at least my houseis lovely and tidy!

On a different note, pretty shaken up, as just written the car off
Any crash you can walk away from is a good result, although you may not feel like that just at the moment. You can be pretty shaken up, even if you are physically more or less ok, and that can last a while. Hope it gets better. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
hope your feeling better soon pawpurrs even if you start to feel ok still get checked by doc as any injury even quite minor to your back or neck could start bothering you again at a later date even years down the line. dont suppose you needed the stress either when your trying to sell your house and its nearly xmas.:coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:

bootalicious, lets hope the new viewer takes a shine to the place. Nothing like a bit of interest from elsewhere to focus your potential buyer's mind!
scurr, you must be doing something right with all those viewings. People shouldn't be viewing if (a) they haven't serious hope of raising the finance and (b) a reasonable belief that they're about to sell, but they still do.
livebythecoin, it sounds like you've found out the hard way why not! It's so easy to find that perfect property when you're not able to proceed. Happened to me earlier this year, though I didn't view it: only did a drive by, but knew it ticked the boxes. Best thing is to remember there's always another one just around the corner....0 -
sometimes losing what seems like your perfect property can be a blessing in disguise. we were SSC and ready to exchange when our buyer pulled out and we lost the house we were buying we were gutted. that was 6 mnths ago. even though we are frustrated that we havent sold yet we have just found out about the problems the person who bought our 'dream home' has had none of which showed up on our survey. basically 5 mnths after getting keys they are only just moving in joists under bathroom not strong enough dinning room ceiling fell dwn etc etc 20k worth of work to put it right. i think we had a lucky escape. i believe things happen for a reason but sometimes you just dont know what it is.:coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:

Hi All,
Well obviously nothing exciting happening for anyone as this was on the 3rd page back. I've just spoken to my EA about something in my HIP pack & he said it's really quiet now. He thinks there won't be much happening until at least Feb now they way things are in my area.He said he's been ringing other agents pretending to be intrested in putting a property on the market & they are saying wait till after the new year. Obviously they are still pushing as much as possible as they don't get paid until I sell so there is still always a chance as other say it only needs one person but I won't get my hopes up.
FeefeeLife's what you make it.:j0 -
And another weekend rolls on! Really gone quiet here! No more viewings booked in, just the one a week today. Still hoping for some for this weekend.
It looks like my car is repairable, about 5k worth of work to be done.
Hope some of you have some viewings booked in for this weekend, and some one will get a acceptable offer.Pawpurrs x0 -
Glad your ok pawpurrs. From the other side of the fence, its been like Christmas week, hardly any enquiries at all.0

from the other side of the fence, (if it had three sides that is!!) property to buy in the area I'm interested in has dwindled to next to nothing.0

That doesn't surprise me, a lot of the valuations I've done in the past two months don't like what they are being told when it comes to price. A lot of people are have put things on hold when it comes to moving.0
