To those selling in these difficult times

oh my goodness, viewing has taken place. it was a young girl with her mum. they both oohed and ahhed about the place, they love this, they love that. she said that she had already seen a place around the corner that she was in love with and now this had changed her mind. i said, well the estate agents have keys, why not come back in the week for a second viewing.
i was so nervous showing them round though, my voice was shaking!! it sounded so ridiculous to say things like, 'this is the lounge', 'this is the toilet'. i banged on about transport links and the lovely view, which they both agreed with, so maybe they'll offer. however, only one viewing and thats within a day of reducing the price so hopefully there'll be more people wanting to see.0 -

One down Jenner, fingers crossed eh!
EA office open for another 2 hours, keep jumping when the phone rings!
Thing with viewers is they are just plain odd, those that you think are not interested are, and those that give all the right signals sometimes are not.Pawpurrs x0 -

Dave is your daughter doing the theory test at the moment? if so, she can practice on the government website, if she pays for 1 month or something you can do the test as many times as you like and i THINK it includes the hazard perception, so she can practice
Thanks. Yes, she's done both theory and hazard perception & failed on the latter, she thinks because of her clicking technique. I know what she means, because I've tried, and sometimes I click on a hazard which doesn't develop, or I just click because I'm too keyed-up! All very different from when I'm driving our 3.5 tonne Transit, when I just look out for things bigger than me......Only joking, but the video clips are quite confusing at times, as there are more hazards than they suggest on them. Not only that, but I find myself recognising places and saying, 'Hey, this is Abergavenny!' or 'This is rather quiet for Bedminster Bridge!' then I forget what I'm there for.......Yes, I'd fail.
Anyway, DD's spent a long time on the DVD this week and even had her instructor in here on it for an hour, so things may go OK this time.
Jenner, you made me laugh when you spoke of wrecking the cooker. I throw my cats out and they sit on the back doorstep looking resentful every time there's a viewing.
Fingers crossed Mish. Cul de sacs are brilliant for kids, though the 11 who live near me are mostly precious and rarely venture past their front gate, if they go outside at all. At the other end of our road they are all over the place, morning, noon and night. Anyway, locals will know all the benefits of the area and, yes, it is good to sell to someone 'nice' if you can, but it would be hard to be picky just now.0 -

Wouldn't it be nice if you all came back on Monday and had offers, me included of course!
Lets all put the positive vibes out there, you never know. Good Luck to you all.
I'm off to the pub now as they're having a beer festival this weekend, it's great cos it's right in the village and 20 to 30 steps from my house, so not far to stagger back, mind you I don't drink beer so will have to find something else!:beer:0
