Had feedback from my weekend viewers,
One viewer not for them.
Another one liked it but still viewing others, and *may* come back for a second viewing.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh people are just so airy fairy!
No more viewings booked in at the moment, next................Pawpurrs x0 -
1st posting!
we have been on market since end july...averaged 1-2 viewings per week. We were lucky enough to get 3 offers in before any viewings but foolishly did not accept any of them as they were below what we were looking for (hindsight is curse!!). we are now at the stage were we would kill for one of those offers but sadly they are no longer on the table.
today howeverwe have had our 1st 2nd viewing , if that makes sense? so fingers crossed as EA overheard the possible buyer talking offer amounts with his son in law!! EA was then asked by possible buyer what process they use for accepting offers!
proerty is 1 bed flat near glasgow- originally on at o/o 68k-recently dropped it by 3K
it is so worrying as i dread the call from EA but excited for it at same time!Make £5 a day in October £323/£155
Make £10 a day in November £4.99/£3100 -
Welcome to the thread Iskane, sounds promising, fingers crossed for you.
Just had another viewing booked in for friday, someone that has wanted to view for quite a while, looking for a second home. So that will be viewing no 14, unless I get some more booked in in the mean time.:money:Pawpurrs x0 -
Hi All,
I'm just about to put my house on the market as my other half has asked me to move in with him, which is all very exciting but now i've got to try & sell my house which i know will not be easy.
I've got 3 EA coming on Sat & they have all said over the phone that i will not get much more than i paid for it 3 years ago:eek: I know the markets not that good at the moment but would be nice to make something on it as will need to buy things to go in his house like wardrobes as mine are all built in.
Fingers crossed & good luck to everyone trying to sell
FeefeeLife's what you make it.:j0 -
Welcome Feefee, and good luck! It may not be easy, but you could be lucky, price competitively if I were you.
I have found this thread, helps me, the more the merrier, so they say.Pawpurrs x0 -

Hoping for some good news from some of the motley crew here today, some one has to have an offer today.
 I've had an offer today (the second in 7 months - although two other viewers were keen but couldn't get mortgage/couldn't sell current property and didn't actually make a firm offer).
On at £170,000 - offer is £157,000
Downside - will be renting, won't be able to get back on property ladder again for a very long time, if ever. But, it would pay off my mortgage (£79,000), some other debts and leave me with something over.
Positives - cashbuyer - buying as buy to let and putting family member into property. No chain.
I said I'd get back to agents tomorrow. In an ideal world I'd much rather stay put - but it will make life easier financially (in the short term anyway).Any objective thoughts anyone? Plan B was to try remortgaging (currently Northern Rock SVR) but although I have reasonable equity my salary is always the stumbling block.

Congratulations on the offer. :T
Are you happy with the amount, how does it compare to what the Agents have recieved on other comparable properties recently?
Would you regret it if you didnt accept it?
How long have you been trying to sell?
As they are in an excellent postion, will they act swiftly?
Will they increase the offer or is this their best price, ask if it is dependant on any surveys?Pawpurrs x0 -
ok, well, just listened to my messages today and the esate agent rang while i was at work. he said that viewer was interested in the flat but needs to speak to their financial advisor the WEEK AFTER NEXT, so will give me a ring then to let me know if they want to proceed. i would have thought that was all done by now, the price could drop another 20k by then!!!!!0
