Congratulations Jenny!!:j
We are in Gedling we are about to put our flat up. We've got Marriotts, Rowells and Sharpe and Partners coming round, I think i already know who i'm going with though!0 -
I am soooooo Jealous, well done Jenny. Fingers crossed it goes through smoothly for you, is the one you want still available?
The one we really wanted, is not offically on the market, it is being rented out. (It reached the end of it's 6 month tenancy in March). In theory, the owner (Property developer who only rented out cos it wasn't selling) may still be interested in selling, but whether the price is right is another matter. It was on for £220k when he took it off to rent it out 7 months ago, we offered him £200k then, but weren't proceedable, so he rented it out. Hubby doesn't think it is worht £200k now, so we'll have to see.
Thanks for asking and thanks for the well wishes.:D:j:j:D:D
I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like?:A

Another one booked in for the weekend, think I might write my memoirs, this one sounds like a right basket case! Glad the EA is doing this one!
Think this one is viewing no 54, not on the market even!Pawpurrs x0 -
Finally Rightmove is showing the corect price for our house after reducing it over a week ago.
Last week there would have been about 9 four bedroomed houses at or lower than our price- this week there are six!!!!
Let's hope that is a good sign!"This site is addictive!"

Lets hope the price reduction brings you some viewers and hopefully an offer.
How long have you been on the market now Elona?Pawpurrs x0 -
Nearly two years but in that time another four roughly similar houses in about 14 came up for sale(including next door!)"This site is addictive!"

Bit of spring movement perhaps? Is Bath bucking the trend?
Hostiegirl all perfectly normal average time frame for a sale to exchange is now three mths. Sure it will happen in the end, your over the worst hurdles, nail biting stuff!
I know i'm just so impatient! I'm trying not to be but it is so hard when we are so close. I'm hoping next week we can exchange!.
The local news... Not too sure where they were filming but think it may have been a Bristol agent rather than Bath. Apart from retail with sale signs in window since xmas I have not seen any sign of the credit crunch in Bath but then I haven't tried to buy or sell a house there!;)0 -
Two years
Christ I think I will have died of stress before then!
How many viewings?Pawpurrs x0 -
About a dozen viewings and a couple of offers - but not feasible ones.
Did have one couple who were going to buy the house outright from their savings and going to see the Bank Manager the next week- did not like to be rushed (that was over a year ago).;)
Had someone wanted to buy privately before it went on market then she decied she wanted to defraud with stamp duty!!!! We declined!!!"This site is addictive!"

:rotfl:
Needless to say I have told the agent they can do that one!Pawpurrs x0
