Is there anyone from a CH postcode on here selling a large 4 bed det...if so pm me...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Had a phone call from the estate agents this afternoon and have a viewing on Saturday afternoon.
Heard nothing back from the people in January who were raving about the house so hoping for better luck this time.
Maybe the newspaper article about house prices going "up" will spur buyers into action- or the "Spring bounce".
I'd settle for anything in the way of a buyers bounce!!!! Have already dropped nearly 10% and would be reasonable and realistic but don't want to be trampled over either."This site is addictive!"

Well, had our first viewing booked for 2:30 yesterday afternoon. As my wife was out late the night before i picked up the kids and literally spent from 5 pm till 11:15 tidying the garden and cleaning and decluttering.
took the afternoon off work, and then at 2:30 precisely got a call from the estate agents telling me they'd cancelled
So 5 hours of back breaking, plus a half day holiday lost. Cheers.0 -
