Not seen anything else to look at. A couple of overpriced properties - but nothing new in my viewing search...
Lots of activity at the lower end of the market in terms of price reductions though (wider search so not viewing material - just noseyness)
And more strange activity from one of our local EA.0 -

Well ... are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin.
They have got a house on their site , no pic or details yet, but already sold. Can't have been on more than 48 hrs. Not a cheap bargain either.
Loads of houses suddenly appear and go SSTC (also not bargains) but the ones that have been there for a long time are still unsold.
They only have some properties on rightmove - so I have to check their own site fairly often too.
I just think they're pretending to sell properties. It's nice to know I can check the data in a few months too.0 -

Maybe you should keep record of these so called 'sold' properties (ie print them off their website)... then in a few months, you'll have evidence for trading standards.

Just a quick update from me...
We've got a viewing booked for tomorrow, They're going to see the local school afterwards. (Good sign?)
They are a 'new' couple and both have houses, hers is sold, his is on the market. Hubby thinks they would need to sell both houses before being able to offer, is that right?
Good luck for everyone for this weekend....
ANy news Pawpurrs?I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like?:A

Good Luck with that Viewing Jenny.
No news here  EA has left messages and they have not returned their calls.......how rude can you get, after saying they would deffo offer by yesterday........fair enough if they have changed their minds, but you would have thought they could just make a simple phone call?

Pawpurrs: It's like a cat playing with a mouse....or is it? Do you think they may be having problems with the finances? People are peculiar about money sometimes and stall rather than tell the truth.
Devilot: Comisserations! Read your story on the other thread & it seems almost unbelievable that your agents can be so useless in the current sales climate. What happened to the other folk you showed around? Are they still on the scene at all?
Jenny: New couple sound good, but may take some time just to become proceedable. Won't tell you how long our buyers took, but they did prove that committed people will hold on to a particular dream, even for....er, a long time! Best of luck with them, anyway0
