I had the christmas hits CD on this morning as I sat and went through my lists and wrote more notes.I only played it once through as I dont want to get sick of them before December comes.
At the weekend hubby2b and I did lots of planning on paper. We started with the wedding planning getting the ceremony, meal and entertainment plans and timings organised. The christmas folder was on the table too so I thought,"while he is in a good mood, get that done too",we planned the meal courses and double checked who is coming so we know we are having 10 guests this year.We finished writing the gift lists for the grown ups so I just have to go shopping now. Then we sat down with DD and planned her birthday party for Jan.she wants a Grease theme and a 70,s disco, magic!
I spent this morning planning the dining table colour scheme and settled again on red and gold,I always do.
Looked at IKEA,s christmas ranges online to save a journey and chose my colour for the porch so thats 2 of this weeks chores done already."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -

Bought a couple of things for the Christmas food at the weekend, two boxes of Apple and Herb stuffing and a tin of Heroes. Have safely packed them away as I know if I see the chocolates I will munch them..lol
Just waiting to get the new fridge freezer in a couple of weeks then I can buy the goose and meat joints. Ooooh just realised will have these even before December arrives, must write a list of what food I have bought otherwise I could end up with double quantities and don't want that.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

can I add no11. to my list : get rid of annoying husband...
I have my lists for other people and up until now he has said 'whatever' every time I ask him what we should get people and now I have it all sorted and I'm working through my list he decides to start picking things up in shops and putting them in our trolley. And I was like NOOOOOOOOOO -   don't - I have it sorted, he has no money saving concepts at all he just sees something he thinks is good and says - 'err uncle tom' or 'my little sis'...etc; etc; etc; I vow not to let him enter a shop until next year if that is possible -
OK rant over - thankyou fellow christmas nutters for listening- I'm off to write some cards out.:T

I think its the male species, my father is the worst, he thinks hes gods gift with a shopping list in Tesco, always getting the bargains... but mention xmas presents, and buying them early    We have an arrangement at home that I buy the bday presents and xmas prezzies, (3 lots mum+ dad, me and dd), so hense I try to bargain hunt the best I can, his idea of storage is put them in boxes in the loft, then when you ask for them........they go missing and turn up 2mths afta xmas, but you put a bottle of whisky up there different matter!
He had his early xmas prezzie Sat, day trip to Glasgow (6hrs each way on train), moaned about going round the shops, (I only went in 3), then we found a Whisky shop......different matter, esp as part 2 xmas prezzie bottle Malt was brought.......on train home he wouldnt let the bottle go up on the rack, he nursed it all the way home..... xx:Dxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Morning All
Everyone seems to be doing really well :j
I can't wait til december I am determined to sit back and relax
I feel like I have not stopped all weekend, what with shopping and jobs on saturday and Sunday!! And was out most of the morning yesterday
Just thought I would check on my list:
Home:
1. Clear the Kitchen & Put table back (move all stuff that got dumped from decorating the frontroom, Washing & Drying etc..)
2. Wrap DS2 Birthday Presents & Do Cards. (Have wrapped DS1's Birthday Presents too, so one less job in Dec, and done Mums pressies for the 6th Nov too :j )
3. Sort out Computer (as it is dumped on the floor in the kids bedroom while we decorated....gonna leave it upstairs now)
4. take 4 bags and Chair to the Charity shop (Will do this on Monday)
5. Sort out Dad's, Little Sisters and Step mums Xmas Pressies Ready to post when we get back from holiday (They live in Gibraltar, and I like to post it off early)
6. Finish 2 Xmas Planners for Presents.
7. Put all the clean washing away that is becoming mount everest
8. Put stickers on new Wheelie bins (ARRRRRRRRRGH!! gone to Fortnightly collection on the main bin, but now have a big brown one for tins, bottles etc, bags for paper and card, and a small green one for food waste  ) I got some lovely ducks dancing in the rain stickers from B&M's they were only 79p a sheet BARGIN!!
9. Cut the Kids Hair
10. put new unit up in frontroom. Can't do this one as I haven't got the UNIT (it was out of stock), so will have to Delete this one of my list.
11. Make Biscuits for DS2 to take into school for his birthday (will do this on Thursday so he can take them in friday the last day of term)
Holiday:
1. Sort out Halloween stuff for while we are away.
2. Print off some activites incase the weather is bad (were going to Ayr in a caravan so might be a bit cold at this time of year)
3. Sort out clothes and Pack (Half done)
4. Sort out spare blankets and Pillows.
5. Clear the junk from the boot of mums car.
6. Go shopping for beer & Wine.
7. Sort out boxs of bits that I've been buying each week for the holiday.
8. book train tickets so me and OH and DS2 can get there.
9. Sort out kids Leapsters, Change Batteries and get all games together.
10. Sort out kids holiday craft box.
O I really love this list idea, it's keeping me really motivated (Thanks Mel)
I seem to be crossing loads of little jobs off my Planner lists too while I;m getting these done.
Thanks for the brilliant Idea
