Well I have completed 5 out of the 10 things on my list but haven't the time to sit and type it all out again to show you what I've done!!

Is there an easier way to do it?? Can you cut and paste??

Thanks and well done to everyone else who has been completing things on their lists!

    Hi
Have read the new post and had a look at the organised christmas site. Don't have time at the mo to read all the previous posts.

Just wondering what the list of 10 things to do is about and is it to late for me to join in and write a list.

Will spend some time tomorrow catching up by reading the rest of the posts, but trying to get a headstart on what is going on

Thanks in advance for any help

    Hi
The list of 10 things are like a personal reminder (or kick up the bum), you choose 10 things you want to achieve in a week, everybodys are different, can be as simple as write 5 xmas cards, do a xmas list, the idea is a motivation as well, were all in the same boat, and moral support for each other, as well as making new friends, and a break from the mundane life!.

Never to late to join in,
Only 65 ? days to xmas xx

hi all not technically the right threa dbut thought I'd get some good response here! I want to buy concert tickets as xmas presents but want to wrap them up somehow - or make them slightly more intersting to open on xmas morning - thinking like a pass the parcel style wrapping but anyone got any good ideas??

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

  • you could putthem in envelope, wrap the envelope in nice paper, then put into a shoe box stuffed with tissue paper and wrap. You could perhaps put something, small gift - in the box to add some weight.

Or put in card, in envelope, wrap nicely then tie on a string and attach to a helium balloon.:D put balloon in a box so when it is opened it escapes (just mke sure they open gift in house or you may never see it again:rotfl: :rotfl: )
    Reduce,re-use, recycle.

    Morning all!

Well, I take back what I said about OH - last night he put up 3 shelves, tidied his stuff which had been lying around for months onto them, tidied two drawers out ("drawers of doom") which I had been planning to get round to and sorted out some paperwork. I am very impressed! :j

I had a kick up the bum last night when I sat with the calendar and wrote down all events, parties and activities which are happening between now and Christmas day. There are not many spare days left between all the birthdays, parties, PTA meetings and nights out and that doesn't include December which has we all know will be manic with Santa visits and pantomimes and Christmas discos etc etc (and thats just DD1 I'm talking about - she has a better social life than me!). So thank goodness I have you guys with all your good advice to keep me on track. I normally wouldn't have done so much by now if I hadn't found this thread.

Shevs - I would manage to take the photo but getting it off the camera and posting is a step too far for me I'm afraid but I might give it a go. Don't know if the snow is still there - it's still dark (I hope it's still high up and hasn't come down any further!)

RoxieW - hope you are feeling better - keep warm and lots of fluids.

Right, busy day today - looking after my friends' two little ones so that will be three under fives in the house. Oh well - better get my coffee now!

    Love
    Gill
