Very jealous of Dani85 - we want all the details when you come back! (and totally agree with leaving the OH at home!)

:rotfl: at the Cupboard of Doom - yep, I have one of them!

A slight panic keeps taking hold of me - so much to do and time is going so fast.

DD1's birthday is on Saturday and I forgot to buy balloons at the shops today - aaggh!

Hi everyone. I have made hampers for all the nieces and nephews this year and finished the last one yesterday. Now I just have to concentrate on the 4 grandchildren and my 13 yr old daughter, plus older daughter and son.

I started making christmas cards last week but went to print out some more backing papers this morning only to the find the printer has gone up the creek and cant afford to get it seen to. Is a nuisance as I have been reading about the home made bath salts and flavoured vodkas on the other threads and was hoping to do some for the elder two and print labels out for them. Isnt it annoying when something you rely on but dont really think about goes wrong.

Well ladies & gents it's 10 weeks today till Christmas eve. How is everybody getting on?
  • SHEVS- omg. on one hand it seems ages away on the other its flying round. But i do love xmas eve my fave....waiting for santa ...knowing the elves are working frantically to get things done...mrs claus ironing his suit.....and thats me excited not the kids!!!!!

Well sorted the rest of the cards yesterday and found out last years which were sent to us, so now shouldnt forget anyone. Just have to write them now and if im early enough i can hand deliver lots of them because they are local so save a few pennies there too. Still frantically trying to think of something for hubby. He never says he likes this or that, never asks for anything and is as pleased as punch with whatever he gets and that people have remembered him. He never had many gifts as a child (not that he wanted for love , attention food clothes etc) , so he loves receiving anything. I wanted to get something a bit special but havent a clue as yet. Must keep thinking and keep eyes peeled when shopping.

morning all - well my cupboard of doom is looking great!! Yey! Task for today is sorting out the umpteen boxes of photos that we're in there into album piles - then buying some to put them all in! On top of the many many loads of washing I have to do I think I'll leave it at that for today!

so excited for xmas - although its my little boys birthday on halloween so like to get that done first before xmas runs away with me.

I cant resist anymore :) I have to join in.

Another christmas lover here!! been reading this thread since it was on page 1 !! I did print some stuff out from the organised xmas site but havent looked at them since...oops. So im just following it 'roughly' now.

Im 35 weeks pregnant so there'll be 4 kids at xmas so really need to try and make sure everything is as organised as can be.

Going to clear out my bedroom, starting today, as thats where most of the pressie stashing happens.

Luckily I have a bag of unwanted pressies i've recieved this year.Lots of perfume , handbags etc so I am going to recyle them.Naughty I know but needs must;)

Logan I forgot to pack my ''Now that's what I call Christmas'' cd when I moved out earlier this year. I onlt found out because my mum called me the other night to let me know she had found it. I would of had a massive hissy fit if it had gotten to december and I hadnt got my music
