    Hi guys,

I got my Christmas tree this weekend, lovely 6 footer for £20 from a local garden centre. Got a really nice gold angel to sit on top, some gold, cream and chocolate bows for the three, clear fairy lights and I also got a light in the shape of a christmas tree. I saw it in habitat last year and loved it, and it is in the habitat outlet shop near me. its full of clear fairy lights in the shape of the treet and will sit in the entrance hall of our flat. Thats it for decorations so will still be hunting down some more to go with the theme.

Mel I love your house, I have the Jack Skellington dressed as sandy claws too!!!! I love the Nightmare Before Christmas. I love anything Disney!

Oh shoot, I am so behind with my christmas arrangements it's unbelievable and I was doing so well too..grr!! It doesn't help that my kitchen is like Beirut at the moment and as of tomorrow I will have nothing in the cupboards and new kitchen units in the living room.

I haven't bought anything since a couple of weeks ago now..:(

I am going to sit down and write out my christmas cards for my US cross stitching forum that I belong to, this week so that they are all ready to post out on next Monday.

Off to check out Organised Christmas weekly lists so that I can catch up :)

Mel, your house decorations are gorgeous. But why so early? Won't you get sick of them by the time Christmas comes around? I want to get some odd nick nacky things for Christmas and put out slowly but I think Dh might actually notice..lol

Its both, not to give anything away for the people who havent seen it, its basically about the people of Halloween town kidnapping father christmas and doing Christmas themselves but all the presents are evil, bad etc and it goes horribly wrong. a craker of a film, deffo one to watch.

mel - everyone here is loving the decs especially the jack baubles. I will post a pic of my tree when it's up. My husband decided we were going to make buying a disney ornament each year a tradition - I think it's a great tradition to have.

The book was already pre-made and I painted it and made it pretty. I suppose you could get a nice one from poundland and jazz it up or look online at the pretties OoOoo :D My letterings are American Crafts thickers. I love them!! They are like thick stickers (hence the name) they cost about 2-3 pounds a pack but I bought mine from QVC and they was about 13 packs for 12 pounds. I can't recommend them enough. Mine were white so I inked them and put glitter snow on top.

Can I just ask are thses foam letters or a different type of medium?? I've seen them before but asn't sure which ones were best but yours look lovely!
