Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

Pinkladymel- At some point this week I was going to post a pic of a blank empty box/book that I found in hobbycraft and loved, I thought I might see what inspiration you had for it. Anyway what a co-incidence as I was perusing your blog last night and found this http://pinkladymel.blogspot.com/2008/05/pirate-princess-mini-book.html (which is gorge by the way!) and I'm positive that big book/box is the same as mine!!! Did you get it from hobbycraft??

Phunkles - Where are you getting the candy canes from? I saw some in John Lewis but they were much to expensive for what I wanted them for!!

mum2one - aww your DD sounds lovely giving you a teddy! Hope you feel better soon!

I'm also feeling really organised. I want to get everything done by the end of Nov so I can enjoy December :) Target for this week is to make all my cards :)

I have 8 more presents to buy but know what they are and 4 of them are makey presents (hampers) so can't do that til a bit nearer the time as I don't have the space to store them! Even my OH has his presents quite organised !! He usually doesnt ask his family what they want until Dec 20th-ish!

Jamtart: I got some candy canes from BHS sure it was 2 packs for 5 pounds and there were a few varieties.

Pinkladymel: That scrap book looks top, your daughter is really cute. You are very talented at that and really hope you win your competition.

The Christmas Markets opened yesterday in Manchester. Didnt get the chance to look round all of them as I only had an hour at lunch. It made me feel so festive and hungry with all the treats and great looking food that they have going.

I am going to see that 4 Christmases movie next week which I cant wait for. Cant believe it 5 weeks and 1 day away, so excited!!!!

Shevs, I'm from Manchester and live in Germany - the Christmas markets are the best bit by far! Can't believe they've started already in the UK - they always start here on the weekend closest to the 1st of December and I'm really looking forward to it!

I'll be stocking up on Glühwein before heading back to England for Christmas, can't wait!

PS I knew immediately that you're from Manchester by the way you said the scrapbook looks "top"! Don't think anywhere else says that?! Ooh I miss home!

I'm originally from Manchester too, now living in Bristol. The closest European Market we have is one in Bath, but it doesn't start until the 27th Nov and closes on the 7th December.
I'm hoping the big one in Birmingham is still going strong on the 20th December.

I miss home too ... sometimes.

  • Getting stressed out now, I haven't stopped since we got back of holiday (a long distant memory now), and yet I still feel like the light at the end of the tunnel is broken LOL

I have loads to do today, and I'm feeling so stressed (i wish i'd left the decorating now) but i'm moaning on and i shouldn't you lot keep me going and make thing so much more christmassy.

I feel so "I can't be bothered" at the moment I think it's cos I got so much to do, I felt so organised a few weeks ago and just don't know whats happened.

I think I need a gallon of coffee and a good dose of christmas spirit to keep me going. And more MSE time, I keep getting distracted and not getting my regular fix LOL

    Anyway moan over

    Roll on December !!!
