Just bought some father christmas cushion covers from poundworld. A lady on the crafty christmas thread bought the same ones and a blanket to match. I got 2 cusions for a fiver from Primark and two red super soft blankets £2 each also from primark, so in total a cusion will cost me £3.50 but the blankets £3. going to make some for my flat, some for mum and sum for mil. Wont take me to long to make hopefully will be done by tomorrow night.

Mel can you airbrush me to look like a size 10?

    Xmas Saver!
Cooking spree is done, knackered now

    Done :-
12 portions vegetable and tomato broth
    4 portions coq au vin
8 portions sausage + tomato casserole
10 portions beef in red wine (thou had 2 sample a glass, but that turned into 2, as the cooking took so long).
6 portions chicken in red wine (there mine!!!)

That just leaves the rest of the list to tackle by fri, but got the biggest done, thou had to get my poor father to do all the bending and lifting to the oven, and while portioning up, he ended up with wearing one portion of each..........he kept fidgeting while I was trying to bag them!
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Anyone seen any offers on SLIMLINE photo calenders? There are dozens of codes about for normal calenders (and 50% off most photo gifts on snapfish at the moment in case anyone is interested)...but havent seen slimline anywhere?

Aww poor you Steph I know what it is like to spend christmas eve in hospital and I was glad to get home for christmas day!! I love your christmas carols idea.

I haven't got around to welcoming all the newcomers yet but it is so nice to have you here and posting :)

mum2one you are amazing doing all that cooking in your condition. I hope the pain gets better soon.. have you thought about suing them haha!!

Tartster.. I have not seen any slimline calenders hmm have you thought about making your own? I have got so many stretchmarks I wouldn't even know if I got a new one!

Hi Pinkladymel! I had thought about it, but I'm miffed because I should have gone for the Tesco BOGOF offer a few weeks ago but didnt have my pics organised. I'll wait a while and see if there are any offers on as I have all pics sorted now!! :)

Heads up that Boots has a possible £25.50 back in points if you spend £75 at the moment in case anyone has a big order - its a good time :) (Automatic 1500pts for £75 spend, 750 on a £75 spend code which is on the voucher board and 300 normal points)

If anyone is on Quidco, you might notice they are doing Bingo thing for cashback purchases to win extra cashback. Don't think theres a great deal of money involved but if you read the rules, you generally have more chance at it if you are in a team (and all split the cost of the cashback). I've got a team called Christmas_Angel and can take 3 more people, so if anyone wants me to invite them, PM me :)
