  • Morning all

Back to the sleepless nights. Wasn't going to post this morning but I have to ask Pen-Pen if she will post the recipe for Rhoda Jean's Chilli Tomato Relish. I've run out of relish and wanted to make my own with the YS toms I bought yesterday.

Sammyjig Sorry to hear your OH is no better. Let's hope it gets sorted today. (((hugs))) to you.
    Happy Birthday to HH's OH.
Aussie can we get a glimpse of the top?? Will you be having a competition a la Pen-Pen to name your chooks? Can I have one named Bookie please, please, please?? (Insert begging smiley here :D ) Glad to hear your DGS's hands are improving. Give him a hug from me.
Pen-Pin Sorry you didn't get the news you wanted but as others have said it may be for the best and you may have a noticeable improvement in your health.
((((hugs))) to those who need them.

W**k today but I certainly won't be doing any overtime today as I'll be left on my own next week *again*. So with any luck I can finish at lunchtime and get to the gym before I pick DS and DD up from school.

The Remoska is being used daily and I've tried various things in it so hopefully I will notice a difference in my gas bill as it looks like the cooker will rarely be on.

    Have a fantastic Friday. xx

  • Morning everyone,it's bright and sunny this morning here but very cold and can you believe it we actually have condensation on the inside of our windows in September. That does'nt usually happen until the end of October so it must have got quite cold through the night too.I'm off to change some things in town and I want to make my daughter some cakes before I go.She never bakes for herself says she has a mum for that kind of thing. She's only 32 after all.Going to spend the weekend with her in Manchester so guess who'll be doing all the cooking this weekend. No change there then.
Well everyone have a lovely weekend. The weather is supposed to be cooler than usual and very wet and windy so it looks like the summer realy is over, what we had of it.Take care.....

Bookie Just for you I'll call one of them after you seeing as you asked rather nicely. :D One is getting called Miss Polly (DGS choice) and I was toying with the idea of calling another Daisy after our little dog that died about 18 months ago. But I will call the other Bookie the Chooky. :D I hope she'll lay us lots and lots of eggs and not turn out a bit of a old boiler. ;)

PP Sorry to hear about your op. Keyhole is the way to go if you can get it done.
Squiggly I made a organiser last week for myself. TBH thought it was a bit useless. Might be ok if I had a huge bag or maybe on holiday to keep everything together. Will post a pic of my top soon. DH will have to take it.
sammy I hope DH is much better by the time you see him.
Mr HH Happy Birthday. Maybe you can aim for a hat trick HH.

Well off to have a shower. We've been asked out for tea. DH told them that I don't eat meat and they replied that was OK we were having pork.  :D *shakes head in disbelief*. Byeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Well, it's raining AGAIN - bet my tomatoes never ripen - & it's cold, too, condensation inside my windows as well. Baby woke for early bottle at 6, then went back to sleep  & had to wake him at 8.20:eek: ! Going to toddlers in half an hour else I'd have left him. It was sooo nice to have breakfast in peace & to tidy a bit.

Going to stay in when we get back, think weather's going to get worse instead of better here. Got tons of ironing to do, must bake & some rosehips to defrost to make syrup.
Car passed MOT but they don't know why it's cutting out, so have to go to auto electrical place - don't want to drive it ATM in case it stops on the ring road again! Got wedding on 13th, do is 40 mins drive away & taxi would cost ££££ there & back, so got to get car fixed asap.
((((((Hugs)))))) in advance to those who need them today & talk to you all soon.
BTW loved MrH's birthday pressie - cheered up this grey morning for me!!
