HELLO Kathy's friend come and join us, you can do it,and if you get stuck there is always someone on here to help :D

OH is a bit better now, the Doc has taken him off the pills he gave him the other day, Perin-something  because he said they work within 48hrs if they are going to,and they obviously havent, also the side effects are making him feel really ill. He has to go see him again on Monday. So I am feeling a bit
    happier now.

Hi everyone, still chasing my tail,
Hester at least you gave us all a snigger today, but I have one question, is the age that meant someone had to have a sleep between the two:rolleyes: , and then take the day off:D , or is that just to build up his strength for tonight!:D :D:D

Birthday wishes Mr H-H & Tired Son.

(((((hugs)))) and waves to the rest of you.

  • Taplady hope you get something sorted for DS (((hugs))) for you both.

I am sitting here freezing, just about to check on the burgers in my remoska - eating should warm me up. Think will have an early night too.

  • Taplady, hope your DS manages to get home - or somewhere warm & comfy - soon. (((((hugs))))

Mioliere - we'll soon show your friend the ropes! :) Welcome to her (via you)

Still not put the shelf up, need to get some different brackets so that I can add extra shelves at a later date.... will be more money-saving in the long run to do it that way.

  • Evening Guys!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the lovely posts and PM's. They mean alot to me.

It is all just starting to sink in today and have had a few tears with OH. TBH I am relieved that they are taking it all out and those that know about my past will understand what I mean when I say that. They are removing my cervix too so I will be cut as they cant do it by keyhole. I also have something called a Bicornuate Uterus which means that my uterus goes into 2 seperate ones...weird or what!!

OH got fish & chips for dinner and they were scrummy.

Cleaners were here this morning and did a grand job as usual. 1 washload has been done and hung to dry.

I am having a course of iron infusions and other treatment next week so am at Kings 4 times next week so that will be fun.

OH took me to Sainsburys this morning and to Poundland. We were out for an hour while the cleaners were here and he pushed me in the chair as I couldnt manage navigating the scooter. Got quite a few reductions in Sainsburys and they have alot of the Taste the difference food at 50% off. Spent £40 but seemed to get loads. Then spent £12.00 in Poundland but got some Pledge Aloe Vera polish wipes (these are nearly £2.50 in supermarket), 2 lots of Ziplock bags for freezing fruit for smoothies and soups etc, 2 x Zaflora, Nescafe 100g, Twix (pack of 12), Flash kitchen spray, 2 x plants for £1, Nivea shower gel, Cadburys Creme caramel choccys (4 pack), Cif wipes and a large Colegate toothpaste.

Anyway, we have just put a film on so will say goodnight.

Hugs to all and thanks again.

    Evening all,

Rotten day here too, flooding all round but thankfully we live on a bit of a hill so while the water is running either side of the road in a torrent and we had to divert a little from our usual way home after collecting DGS1 from school. Hugs to all of you affected by the rain and especially Taplady's DS2...seems a little extreme but would a phone call to the police help if you know exactly where he is waiting...might frighten him for a minute if they pull up beside him but at least he will have the security of being safe and you will know too.

Weather disrupted the builder's plans for to-day...he was going to do the door to window swap we had agreed on and some of the stuff I had bought yesterday seems to be off so he just took some measurements for the cupboards he has to make and went off to get started on that

Hugs to everyone who is in trouble in any way, physical or otherwise...will think of you to-morrow Lame Wolf, my brother and I had a wonderful relationship with our mother, have lots of friends who felt the same as you.

Went out for lunch to avoid trying to cook in the tip that is my kitchen, very nice lunch, but can't be doing it every day as it cost €40 for three of us!

    Have a nice evening all

Taplady, hope they get home safely soon.
    Big Hugs to PP.
Hubby & I have been out to the local carvery, his Mum gave him some money & he put it towards a digital recorder as our video pack up a few weeks ago.

Only a quick post from me, as Aussie asked, yes we are going for a hat trick!!!
Donny, hubby claims there was no work today but maybe it was just an excuse, lol.
    Have a good evening.
    Hugs Hester
