have you got a number for this. i'm still within my first year contract i think and am desperate for sky+ box. if i threaten to cancel it doesn't mean much as I'm within first year and owuld have to pay out the rest of my contract. When you calle dup did you ask to be put through to sales or the cancellations / retentions team?0

So does anyone reckon if I phone them that I might get the box for free or still pay £99 and do I still have to pay £60 installation even if I'm an existing customer? Also does the Sky+ box replace the normal digital box?"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
If you don't have any luck with the Shopping Centre approach, try phoning Sky and explain that you are on hard times with the credit crunch (husband lost his job?) or similar and that you would love Sky+ but can't afford the £49. It works sometimes.
Thanks for the tip, might try that as well.0 -

We have only just left Virgin this year and changed back to Sky 'cos they were cheaper than Virgin.0 -
Those people who are getting Sky Movies for £5 per month for 3 months, is that a sort of contract just for 3 months and then they take the Sky Movies away? Or is it 3 months at £5 per month and then 9 months at full price?0
-
it isnt normally a contract but you do have to remember and ask when you order the last date you have to ring at the end of the three months to cancel again.
if you dont cancel it then continues at full price per month0 -
We have the full package but i told OH about the offers people where getting and to ring and cancel sports and movies, he rang and said couldnt afford it anymore and they reduced the payment from £46 per month to £30 per month until march
happy days xx
