I don't know if I have come to the right forum but.... I have the Sky deal tv, b.band & phone. I have just received a letter offering us a saving with Sky talk line rental (which does seem quite a good deal) but hubby says what happens if there there is a fault on the line who would be responsible BT or Sky, would there be a bias towards BT customers???!! Sorry if I have come to the wrong place and if I have please could somebody point me in the right direction!!??
regards Janeyb0 -

They log the fault with BT on your behalf as your contract is with Sky. A bit like buying a car from a dealers, it developing a fault then you return it to the dealer, not the manufacture.0 -
Does anyone remember the movie channels insert they sent out last month. Fims for £5pm or something for 3months
I wasn't very interested then but now think I might want to take it up but want to make sure I have my facts right before phoning in!DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
When someone set fire to the telephone junction box and knocked out all the telephone lines for several streets, those that were with other service providers that telephoned BT to find out what was happening, BT didn't want to know or give any details of when service would resume and just told them to contact Sky/TalkTalk etc. which couldn't provide any information.
When a neighour with TalkTalk had problems with her telephone TalkTalk said that they could arrange for an engineer to come out (which I believe is BT) but in the event they cannot find a fault with the actual line (rather than her equipment or extensions) then a call out charge of over £100 would be charged.0 -

Spoken like someone who has never had to deal with Tiscali call centre, compared to them SKY are great.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Yes Sky customer service is really good. They help a great deal. I too received a letter regarding changing my line rental from Bt to Sky for £10 which is cheaper than Bt £11.75. Am not sure what I should do as yet. It sounds good though cause I'll be saving £1.75.You are 48% tight
