Just a crappy access course but they do extra tuition in essay writing and such like which I think I need to improve. I am hoping to do physiotherapy or occupational therapy for children.. there is a huge shortage in this area of both but the course would be the same one for either.. Should be interesting if nothing else!
PLUS this is 12 hours a week whereas the degree is 30.. and Tiddles is still only in part time nursery which would prove very difficult for childcare.. but next year when I do go to uni she will be full time at school so it will be easier..
There is thought behind this.0 -
Well I have 5 things listed on ebay ...correction someone has just bought my camcorder for £100
:j:j:j But its a new buyer so I'll wait and see what happens.
I'm off to bed - at the job center tomorrow for 11.40 and just remembered the blooming school didn't phone me back :mad: Guess I best get on the phone to them tomorrow morning. If they can't do me a placement I'll have to ring some other local secondary schools or ask at DDs school

Michelle i have had big babies, and i have had to wean early. When i had my dd (10) weaning age was 12 weeks and ds1(9)16 weeks a huge difference to the recommended 26 weeks now. when i had my last 2 kids who happened to be my biggest babies and very hungry obviously it was the latter of the recomendations. By 12 weeks they both took 8 oz every 2 hours. i was completely drained of breastmilk when sean was 6 weeks which is good for me as with jack my 3rd born i got no milk at all. By 26 weeks my youngest 2 were eating breakfast, dinner, tea and supper as well as 6, 7oz bottles of milk a day. My health visitor was fully aware and never said a jot.
So much for going but my brother has decided he needs the toilet he will be gone 20 minutes.....:o ....oh hes finished. 5 minutes new record:rotfl: .You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Hello everyone, busy day, just to let you know Matthew got the all clear and doesn't need to even be seen in clinic for a year, I was grinning like a cheshire cat
thanks for all the positive vibes. His gran has had another scan so just got to keep fingers crossed for now!
House is still trashed and need to do some serious catching up if I am going to take the boys away tomorrow evening. Actually looking at the weather forecast I am wondering if it's a good idea, inc galeforce winds forecast, but thinking about it if it's going to be that bad I might be best off being there just incase anything happens.....
Right, going to empty the DW and refill it before bed, one job ticked off at least! Night night xOne day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Michelle I have just listed 10 items (1.5 hours) for £10 starting bids and they are not all complete!
Chunky I was the same - the weaning time changed which all 3 of mine.
Weaning - I'd say keep it simple, go for foods not known for alergies - ie avoid dairy, wheat, eggs and only introduce a new food every couple of days.
Soappie - hubby said cake was best I've ever made - I make cakes several times a week! I have not had a chance to ring Nan - I will try tomorrow. I now have details of names of kids GGGP on OH father's side too!
I need to set the WM/ bung the ebay stuff back in it's box and head up to bed.
Jamie hope you sleep better tonight and Michelle hope the babe sleeps better. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
lil_me - great news about Matthew!
HUGS to all in need - no time to read previous posts today . . . sorry . . .
We have decided that we're off for the weekend today, instead of tomorrow. It's raining so OH can't work so we may as well head away today and spend some time with two older boys in the city before we head to our real destination spot tomorrow.
I have three lists on the go - Things to do before we go; Things to take; Things younger two DS have to do while they are home . . . yes- it's just OH and me going
And this isn't getting things done so have a great weekend everyone and will see you back here on Tuesday! If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -

before I carry on with my ebaying I wondered if those of you with BMs could possibly give me some advice if not tell me where to go (politely please!!)
Below is the message I posted on the GC thread on the 1st but nobody answered me - too many posts I expect and maybe not the right place?
Hi everyone,
I do so want to keep up with the thread but it is so long each day I struggle - I am afraid I am missing out on any handy tips!!
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes - feel free to shout at me if I should be asking somewhere else!
I used a BM for the first time today - only had it 11 months! I want to do it 'properly' like all you good OS ladies but at the moment I am using up bread mixes that I bought when on whoopsies in Mr T's.
It turned out ok-ish - its very edible - i have had 2 slices already - not going to be good for the waistline! - but isnt a good shape - all lop sided and the outside is quite tough/leathery IYSWIM- not crusty - I dont know anything about bread making but at a guess maybe too long?? I just put it on a basic programme - is that where I went wrong or is it the style of these packet mixes - it was Wrights parmesan and sundried tomato - tastes and smells nice!!!
Any advice would be great!!
I have since tried the chese and onion one on a speciality setting and it was ok in shape but again the crust allover was thick and hard/leathery - the inside is soft and moist - what am I doing wrong?
toots xx
Secondly when i do start with flour and yeast type bread - where is the best place to get cheap brown flour?? I am not meant to eat white.
thanks for your help

Kazmeister - your list - with who did what was somewhat enlightening! How bad were your upstairs bins?
Still - roping them in - great work - I always think that even if it's not up to your standard - and it won't be, 'cos it wouldn't be up to mine;) it's been done and it's a start.
That's brill - now - and this is the galling thing - you have to lavish praise on them like ... like ...they had cleaned it up for the Queen to visit. Just keep telling yourself - it's been done. I didn't do it...that's good enough!
Michelle My HV told me I would have to 'wean' DS early as he would never go through the night. At 5 weeks - he slept through - at 5 and a half weeks he didn't - started the baby rice. You do what suits you - stuff them - I breast fed because I was to idle to make up bottles...then they told me he was overweight when he started school - ONLY BECAUSE HE WAS B***** TALLER THAN AVERAGE! they could make you paranoid if you let 'em. Once upon a time you weren't even supposed to cuddle 'em - they expected you to feed them and leave them...you're doing fine...he was 9lb 1 and a half born (on the sat, section, and we came out on the weds following and he was back up to birthweight! That babe LOVED what I had in me! ***shudders as recollects early breastfeeding dramas***I reckon I was wet through for months!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
