This just reminded me of the story mum was telling me about today... a 3 year old kid managed to grow a "cannabis" plant in the garden from a pack of health seeds to eat she bought in asda...
Johanne - that's great -took me right back though - to way back when I was a young slip of a lass. My boyfriend at the time was an angler. He used to buy hemp seed for fishing bait. One day, we threw a handful of the hemp seed onto the flower beds outside Wembley Police Station for a laugh. We never did go back to find out if they'd grown into proper cannabis plants but the thought that they might have done right outside the cop shop kept us in stitches :rotfl::rotfl:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Gawd, I'm on reminiscences tonight. Dusty - your post reminds me of when I got my first kitten a few years ago after having a rescue cat for a couple of years. I did the 'right' thing by buying kitten food for it but it just tucked into the older cat's food anyway. I mentioned it at the vet's one day (because I was fretting!) the nurse said she didn't think it would be alright to feed the kitten on 'grown up' food but she'd ask the vet anyway.
The vet came out, listened and said " hey it's OK - they don't have high protein mice in the wild" :rotfl::rotfl:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I can't find a website and I can't find that blue book, will phone debs in the morning, she'll probably not know either because she's as useless as me :rotfl: I have a plan, watch for the kid 2 doors down leaving, just got to hope he's not changed schools....I'm sure he's too small.....
Thanks, I've got my fingers crossed that he settles ok, it seems to be a fantastic school and have heard nothing but praise, I'm sure he'll be fine, I tend to get more stressed than they do. Saying that DS1 was in a right one last week as his fave person in school, their swimming teacher, has leftshe found another job over the summer so he didn't get chance to say goodbye, he wasn't a happy bunny.
Dusty, hope it's just AF and not a cold brewing for you. Kids being back to school I blame, passing bugs around again!
soappie, our vet says the same thing about puppy/kitten food, she said all it seems to do is make them hyper and give them the runs.
Ooooops new thread, best show my face before pigpen catches me...One day I might be more organised...........
