[STRIKE]
kids dinner
school uniforms prep'd
load dishwasher (again!)
wash, dry and put away the last two loads of washing
[/STRIKE]
wrap pressies for my little girls bday tomorrow
banners and balloons to be put up ready for her in the morning
school lunchboxes made (this one might be pushing it a bit!!)
lets see how i go although i think i might need a cuppa before i get started!
am doing ok but little girl wont go to sleep cos she so excited (aww) which is a nuisance cos i have to get her pressies outta my wardrobe and past her room to get them downstairs to wrap them! Also did an EXTRA load of washing as i found her school skirt in her room instead of in the washing pile!! grrr
have decided to pour myself a congratulary glass of wine for all my acheivements today and wait for her to nod off! OH finishes work @ midnight and has said he will help with wrapping when he gets in so i may just wait for that! its always handy to have that extra finger holding everything in place whilst you fiddle about looking for the end of the sellotape!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
anyone else for a glass of cheapo plonko?:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:SarahShattered wrote: »Mrs B you're a legend.0 -

Well, there's no sign of the new thread yet? Does that mean we get a week off?:j
I'm off to watch the rest of Joanne Lumley's prog and do a bit of knitting.
I'll probably find you about 50 pages in to the new thread.

Hugs for SM as she’s having a bad day
OK as more of you come out of the closet, I have to admit I am particularly fond of stationery and I like my clothes (on the rare occasions they get hung out) to have the same colour/type of peg. I am the only one at work who locks her desk drawer at the end of the day so that no one can nick my stationery!Pink Fairy – I used to have my mugs which were different colours and sizes in a particular order in the cupboard kids thought I was mad
Welcome back rach – well done that’s some amount of walking
Laura –leave the ironing, only do the absolute essentials
Polkadot hugs for your dad sounds its so easy to take drinking water for granted
Well done vanilla on finishing
Good luck to anyone else trying to study or finish assignments
Hi SSL – glad the move went well, hope you get your broadband sorted soon
Not over exerted myself this weekend and not totally shattered which is good (although I forgot the iron tabs again today –). Both kids helped clear up after dinner (OH had gone to work so excused) and DD was in bed approx 830 which is a plus.
Anyway everything I wanted to get done today has been done apart from I haven’t ironed my workwear but if I get into bed early tonight then I can get up early and do it tomorrow.Surprised pigpen hasn’t been in yet to post the new fred
– hope all ok hunnie

Just a quick rant
I have just watched an advert on TV for some Pedigree mixer thingy for dogs. They were proud to announce that it included flax seeds. FLAX SEEDS? EXCUSE ME? What dog (or wolf!) in the wild would go 'Oh look, yum, flax seed! I must have some of that!"
They would ignore it totally and just go kill a rabbit or something.
Fu-crying out loud! Do the advertisement men think we're really THAT gullible?
This just reminded me of the story mum was telling me about today... a 3 year old kid managed to grow a "cannabis" plant in the garden from a pack of health seeds to eat she bought in asda... talk about grow your own... story is here

made me laugh.. specially wondering how many little scumbags headed to their nearest asda healthfood section after reading it in the echo :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Evening girls, back home now. kaz I love that stamping foot smilie!! rach welcome home and well done - I replied to the comment, make sure you do some empty washes to clean your machine out and the seals as I had to bin some of DPs shirts when I washed them after muddy stuff
learn from my mistakes.
boddy my friend posted some pics as she was in Morpeth, looks scary. My friend was at another caravan site up near Ashington and they were evacuating those in statics as they were flooded out. She said it's starting to go down there now but so many effected badly already.
Well it's forecast for OK tomorrow so have the second mucky load in now (kids kept slipping over in the mud, eww!) to get out to dry tomorrow, hopefully.
DS2s first day at Junior school tomorrow, I think I am more nervous than he is and he's bad, he's a big kid but such a softy and of course dislikes change so will be praying for 3.15pm to come round to make sure he's ok. Must remember to pick him up at 3.15pm instead of 3pm.....I actually don't know what time he startsforgot to ask.....oh dear...I'll aim for 8.45am I think, can't be that far out.
Need to do a lot of assignment work tomorrow aswell as housework, whole house needs doing so think I will follow the list to get me to be a bit more organised about it.One day I might be more organised...........
