    Hello everyone

Looks like you've all been busy today-we've had problems with the router so Ive had a hard time staying on today. Seemed to do well for my flying though as I've done quite a bit-definately more than I planned:
    • Did kitchen (including dishes (x2), wiped cupboards, emptied bins and made them smell pretty, swept and mopped floors, wiped down tiles and fridge)
    • Baked a chocolate cake (even used a cookie cutter and a sandwich bag to make it look pretty :)
    • Made beds
    • Washed bedroom curtains (DF has just put them back up for me now)
    • Washed bathroom mats and shower curtains)
DF is doing "poultry meatballs for supper so I dont need to do that.
    Still need to
    • Pick up lounge
    • Sweep and mop lounge floor
    • Iron shirt for DF as he needs to be at work at 07H00.
Depending what Pigpen has for us tommorow I'd like to get into the bathroom properly and also get out to find me some stardrops.

Also had a good ol' gab to my dad on Skype, he says its been windy all of August which ios not really usual. And they now only have water for 10 hours a day and have to buy bottles to drink as the water they have is not fit for consumption.
They have been warned that if they don't get their quota of rain in this next month they will be coming down to 4 hours a day only:eek:

Right, been summoned for supper so I think Ill go eat and then be back to call an HHC

Went to the parish BBQ after church and it didn't rain!! But..... I may have agreed to **think about** running Rainbows if they can change the night it's on!!!

Have cleaned the bathroom, made lunch for tomorrow and put away the laundry. Now need to do some paperwork for school.

For all of the newcomers, just to let u know - pigpen will put a link to the new thread on here ready for next week, so if you wonder why the thread has gone quiet, we are probably on the new one.

Froddington and embb thanks for the hugs - those and the toffee crisp I've just eaten have made me feel much better. Well done for getting on top of all the school work Froddington. Rainbows as well as teaching?!! Don't know how you have the energy!

Rach well done for all of the walking - you've inspired me to try to get into shape too. I love walking but I don't envy the walking in the rain bit though - my sister has been at Bestival on the Isle of Whyte(sp?) this weekend and the field it was held in turned into a mud lake - they had to add wood chips in to hold the ground together! Haven't heard whether she survived it yet though.

Polkadot and soappie you've done well today.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Pigpen hasn't been in to put on the new thread yet - she'll put a hyperlink in when she posts, and it's usually something along the lines of NEW THREAD HERE in big letters so you can't miss it.
