  • Hi all, what a busy day everyone seems to have had! Hugs to all who need it - seems like life is fairly tough all round at the moment - I'm sure the aches and pain are due to the weather getting colder already - I'm so lethargic and can't believe it's just down to working four and a half hours a day - though the amount I have to pack in some days....
Looked in on pa on the way home so had a very late lunch but then had a great bowl of hm leek and pot soup for supper - can't believe it's soup weather already!!

Have done a low level fly today but have a day off tomorrow so will make more effort, honest pigpen!!

Love all the threads but find it difficult to keep up as only get on once or twice a day - can't do it at work and never find a mo anyway!

    Here's today's effort:

    Level One
[STRIKE]Clean floors in these rooms[/STRIKE] Did yesterday with hoover through - I only have carpets except kitchen

    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush[/STRIKE] Only downstairs to do

    Clear any clut[STRIKE]ter from desk
[STRIKE]Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!![/STRIKE] Did that in the lounge tidy day as that's where it lives!

[STRIKE][/STRIKE]Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc - done last week - not needed
[STRIKE]Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
    [/STRIKE] except defrag

Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins! - tomorrow I promise
    [STRIKE]Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required [/STRIKE]

Collect all the dirty laundry - ready for tomorrow!
    Extra mission: Take your pick!

    1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    2. [STRIKE]Fling all those empty bottles and tubes [/STRIKE]
    3. Clear a shelf.. clean it.. and make it look nice!
    4. replace any sponges, flannels, toiletries that need it

:TGo with what you feel is best for your children and your right it doesn't matter what the HV says, it's not them having to cope with sleepless nights and 2 under 2's 24/7.
HV's today would have 40 fits at what I have done with mine in the past. DS1 was on baby rice at 8 weeks ish. Only a bit but he was so hungry, not sleeping and I was so tired I didn't know what to do with myself. But it worked, so he obviously needed it and so did I. Did the same with DS2 and DD2 as well.

As for DS2, well being my third he really did have the rough end of it:rolleyes: I used to wrap his bottle in a muslin nappy and stick it in the airing cupboard so I didn't have to wait for it to warm up:eek: I know I'm a very bad mother:o

I bet pigpen knows a few shortcuts as well;)

Glad you had a bit of 'me' time this afternoon though.

Actually mine didn't wean until quite late.. DD3 was 11.5 months.. but the difference is the birth weights.. my biggest was 7lb 8. Whereas IIRC michelles tiddler was a whopper?? (wasn't he around 9lb?) Mine were that at 6 months old!! lol

I didn't have a HV with the last 3 anyway.. they talk carp

The kids have pushed me too far, the little gits (well DS2 got caught) have been pooing outside:eek: then there was the peeing in their room a couple of days ago. So tomorrow when they are all at school every single toy is being taken away (to big shed) and they can flipping well earn them back.      I have had enough.

Right there all in bed and told not to dare get up unless they have to go to the toilet, so i'm gonna get on with the bathroom.

    Back later to update.......

Decided against doing anymore flying tonight (other than clearing away tea things and making packups) as I am going to continue being in bed at 10o clock which I have been every night this week near enough. Huge advantage this morning was that when the alarm went off I got up and wasnt tired for the first time in months. :T :T :T .

Also have a new strategy for kids on pocket money. Rather than giving them the same list every day/other day to do, I will put up Pigpens list they can choose jobs to do and we will do a half hour challenge again together. That way I get my list done and they get their pocket money for 1/2 hours work (plus ensuring doogie walked).

Think I'm happy with that but will they be
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
