I've just caught up from page 14 - it's been hectic going back to school and then hectic at home as well!
MOF4 - hugs - hope you and the kids are feeling a bit better now.
pigpen - good luck with the interview tomorrow and hugs for your sister.
Lil-me - hope everything's gone okay for Matthew and his gran.
SM - I'm sure something will come up soon.
Toots - make sure you let us know when you go into hospital.
Hugs to everyone else because I can't remember what else has happened.
I've spent about 2 hours catching up on the thread when I should of been flying but hey!
I'm off to bed now as I'm shattered.

It's taken me about an hour to catch up with the thread, but I feel SO much better for having read it! Got back from work at 8.30 after a very busy day with no motivation at all. Not sure how much progress I'll make with my lists (although I stripped my bed this morning, so if I want to sleep I'll have to do something about it
), as I still have a load of paperwork that has to be completed tonight for work...
Hugs to all who need them.
Good luck with the interview Pigpen. Let us know how it goes (and if they have any good questions, let me know, as I've got to update my questions as I have 7 people to interview the week after next and I'm bored of the current list)

greenbee.. it is only an interview to see if I am too thick to do the college course.. nothing exciting unfortunately. I was told though based on the results I got from the maths & english assessments I was wasting my time doing thia course and I should go straight to the degree.. except I need to be weaned onto learning again, I've learned nothing for 5 years.. brain of mush!
I can't find my camera.. I have pics of my new crappet...
WM's both loaded so I am now off to destink myself and get my slap on and whizz off to the pub!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Pigpen - if they thought you were good enough to go straight to a degree course your brain can't be made of mush! You should definitely go for it... you need to stay one step ahead of your kids for a start - however much they know, you need to be sure that you know more
What's the course?
Good luck!0 -
First 3 items listed. I'm doing a pigpen - standard postage, descriptions to be edited tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Just a crappy access course but they do extra tuition in essay writing and such like which I think I need to improve. I am hoping to do physiotherapy or occupational therapy for children.. there is a huge shortage in this area of both but the course would be the same one for either.. Should be interesting if nothing else!
PLUS this is 12 hours a week whereas the degree is 30.. and Tiddles is still only in part time nursery which would prove very difficult for childcare.. but next year when I do go to uni she will be full time at school so it will be easier..
There is thought behind this.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
lol.. DS3 is wearing DS2's as he has not one pair that fit!!
Don't suppose he needs grey age 9 does he??
Nah he's gonna have to have a 15 - 16yo. But that'll mean I have to get the double sided sticky tape out to take them up. I don't do sewing:rolleyes:. He's 13 BTW 14 next month.
I just hope I can get some from Asda tomorrow or over the weekend. Thankfully all his school polo shirts and sweatshirts still fit:j0
