Morning everyone.
Just about to set off for work.
Have a good day everyone.
lil_me Thats good news about Matthew0 -
Kaz I love the idea of photo’s of the nuisances-Never thought of that
Tooti when using the bread mixes you can use the basic programme but make sure you’ve set it for an extra large loaf and a dark crust-that usually makes it crunchier, and try reducing the liquid by 50ml.
I buy my flour from Aldi or Lidl (depending who has the specials). They both work out to anywhere between 40p and 80p for a 1.5kg bag-but Ive never spent more than 80p and if you are doing a basic extra large loaf as I always do then a bag that size gets you about 2.5 loaves. DF is not so keen on brown but Im not so keen on white so I’ve found mixing 50% white with 25% of brown and 25% of whole wheat keeps us all happy. We have 5 cereal dispensers that hold 3kilos each and they are always full. I save flour purchases for the veg shop which I do on Thursdays (new special day at Aldi’s and short walk from Thursday playgroup). You often also find coupons in the specials mag at Aldi’s which I save for the next week
Greenbee Ive never asked-are you into recruiting or HR?
Im having a hard time getting DS to eat anything still. I’ve tried it all, any help for me and my toddler?
I also wanted to ask if you happen to spot any cake decorating equipment on freecycle in your area, Id be happy to pay for postage. Ive been watching it here but not had any luck yet. I don’t want to buy any as I cope fine without any and it’s really just something I want rather than need.
Will be going to hardware store today to get wall pins so DF can sort out all the cables he’s switched round. Also want to get a nice big piece of wood to turn into a proper cake board.
Looks like we are going to be rearranging the lounge today again so I’ll not be flying in there too soon. Been up since 3am so at least its all picked up and put away.
DS has been up since 5.30 and DF is still fast asleep.
Hope everyone has a good day today0 -

I don't know how old your LO is. But, when DD was toddling she was so interested in everything else and so active that she didn't eat much either. I would just leave bits loafing around on a plate. Bits of apple, banana, cheese, little squares of bread etc. 9 times out of 10 it would disappear slowly. Still sat her up with us for breakfast, dinner and tea. Sometimes she'd eat sometimes not.
I think with most of them it's just a good old phase they go through. I know there has been the rare exception, but a child will never starve itself. I never made it a major issue, unlike DH and Nanny
Even now, she's 5, 6 on Xmas Eve there'll be times when she's not that interested. Packed lunches come home hardly touched. But when she is having a growth spurt, she eats like there's no tomorrow. She's still on the 50th centile for her weight and height so obviously getting what she needs.
I know it's hard and easier said than done. But if LO's weight and height are within the normal range I wouldn't worry to much.0 -
Well how rare. It's chucking it down outside BUT............................

This week is feeling good now its coming to an end. Ds2 has settled well as a fulltimer and kids seem to be happy at school. so no worries there. I was looking forward to them going back but in all honesty was worried about ds2 he eats a potato more than a pig.:rotfl: his packed lunch consists of Sandwich, grapes, cucumber sticks, 2 yoghurts and a pepperami! he eats the lot including crusts.
I also like fridays as obviously OH come home:D and the house is tidy all the way through by the time he gets home.:T
Right the kids have eaten breakfast so i had better get their hair done and teeth brushed.
Take care all will pop back in a couple of hours xx
  :wave:You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -

Morning all,
Not been able to catch up on thread - it seemed to wobble a bit for me today - sorry. So hugs and kicks to those that need them.
I got rid of a huge bag of my man's clothes (shhhhhhh:shhh: :shhh: :shhh: ). Anything from worn out to paint stained. Plus stuff which was poor quality/a bad buy. Most will be recycled and the rest to the charity shop. So that's one less bag of clothes in the house, yipee!
Didn't do anything yesterday (lazy mere...). Need to tidy the landing as that's getting busy again and do the spare room.
Finally, a quote for the day:
