polkadot - definitely try and persuade your OH not to make a scene over meals! Nothing a toddler likes more than winding up Mum and Dad! I had very few problems with DS1 and DS2. However, DD was sometimes picky, and had days when she had very little appetite. I found the solution for her was to have five meals a day, but smaller ones. So, she had a little meal at eleven and three. This could be little fingers of bread, cheese and carrot sticks for example, or a small handful of raisins and an apple or a fromage frais. At main mealtimes, food is always in serving bowls, and she could help herself, it didn't matter how little she took, but she had to have something from every bowl and she had to eat at least one mouthful of each thing. Actually, she hasn't changed, and we still have weeks when she's like this, and then the odd week when she'll eat anything in sight!
There was a spell when she was about seven or eight, when she shot up in height, but was terribly thin, and I did get comments from the neighbours, but I'm not that thin skinned, and as she had bundles of energy and was rarely ill, I didn't worry about her.

This is fantastic:j :j :j , we've been hoping for another one since may 06 but it just never happened, thought there might be something wrong.

We thought maybe my weight or hubby's meds so this is a really big surprise.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.

But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Good luck with the interview pigpen:D

Michelle, as pigpen said, trust your instincts. He sounds like a strapping little lad and will probably need more than just milk. And i just worked out my LO is only 28lbs, she is nearly 5:o She is just 2 stone:confused:

    Thank you!

DD4 is only 2.5 stone and she is nearly 6. DD5 weighs more than her!

DD5 was REALLY hard to get of bottles.. she had them after her reflux was Dx and I got her off them last Easter when she was 3.5 She is 4 in November and still has her dummy.. BUT.. I won't let her take it to nursery, she isn't allowed it when she is talking and she does actually sucks it ALL the time it is in I would take it off her if she just had it hanging in her mouth I hate that. She still has hot choc in an anywayup cup though
