But Pigpen you are leader of the flyladies your home must be pristine at all times:rotfl: :rotfl:

At least Hazel has come to a wonderful home now to spend her entire long life at. Get a grip and go knock them dead this afternoon.

I've finally finished the living room.

I have an hour now as friend is coming this afternoon so onto the family room - it has so much stuff dumped in it so maybe one pile at a time - starting with my desk.

Soappie - I am going to turn going to the sorting office to collect parcel into a trip to see my Nan as it is just up the road from her - I'll email you later if I get anywhere - hope you had a good day

    Sometimes I am so lazy...

Echoing Dusty's post there - that's one lucky kitty - finally. They are not coming round with white gloves to look for dust (not that thay'd find any;) )... you'll be fine.
Now put it out of your mind and focus on what you are doing today - good luck with the interview - hope it goes well and they see in you a potentially succesful student.

  • pigpen i didnt have a HV for my youngest two either:D and you are doing so well to go back and do a course, i would love to do that at somepoint! maybe next year when dd is full time at school although the childcare would still be an issue (special needs childcare is non existant round here!)

    sorry to leap in unannounced!!

    Morning everyone!!

Havent had internet for a year now..and guess where I came back to first?? HERE!! been following thread for a few days and still have the original "to do" list that i printed off a year ago!! gotta tell you, it works for me! my house has transformed from a "pit of despair" to almost a showhome! (although getting rid of now ex hubby who was a SLOB !! may have helped heehee)

wanted to quote jamie because i had a thought that if special needs childcare is non-existant round your way....well, have you thought about being a special needs childminder??? seems there is a gap in the market there!!!

anyhoos..dont mind me, I'll be in the corner with my cuppa reading on!!
:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:

Pigpen - Good luck for the interview. Now get a grip :p:p:p

    EVERYONE ELSE - :grouphug: :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Just got back from the job centre - 20 min walk each way, or stand around in the rain waiting for a bus & spend £1.50 each way  So I walked it. Getting there I just got wet, coming back I discovered my waterproof coat is no longer waterproof and some *!*$%@! in a landrover went through a big puddle (easily seen) FAST and soaked me through to the skin :mad::mad: Even the inside thighs of my jeans are wet!!! I went to run a bath and found there isn't any hot water (I turned it off overnight last night as it had been on all day) so I'm waiting for it heat up then I'm going for a bath.

I still need to post this ebay parcel & go to the Co-op but I'll leave here early and do it on the way to pick DD up from school. ;)

Sexy I want your funky smileys!

Had lunch - family room is bigger job than I thought - all I've done is clear the desk and create a huge pile of to do's

Think I'll wipe all the sides so the room is at least clean at eye level and leave the floor pile for another day!
