Mrs Beatson .. Welcome back and congratulations!!!
But Pigpen you are leader of the flyladies your home must be pristine at all times:rotfl: :rotfl:

At least Hazel has come to a wonderful home now to spend her entire long life at. Get a grip and go knock them dead this afternoon.

I'll take your word for it!!

lol Hazel is more than loved in here.. I am fidning it a bit odd having her still but I'm sure in a few weeks it wil be like we have always had her. Apparently the RSPCA here is putting healthy kittens to sleep because there are so many about at the moment.. maybe if they let families without a garden and with children under 5 have them they wouldn't need to.. I REALLY think dogs and cats should be licenced animals and have to be neutered before 6 months unless they have a really expensive breeders licence!!!

She was just reall ypleased to see me when I came in.. she hasn't moved since I went out but she lifted her head purred loudly and squeaked.. and went back to sleep! I think she likes it here.. :D

Echoing Dusty's post there - that's one lucky kitty - finally. They are not coming round with white gloves to look for dust (not that thay'd find any;) )... you'll be fine.
Now put it out of your mind and focus on what you are doing today - good luck with the interview - hope it goes well and they see in you a potentially succesful student.

I am always lazy!! By Wednesday they won't find any dust.. even if I usher them VERY quickly from the front door to the front room.. because the rest of the house is hovelesque

Ebay last 2 parcels have been posted I come come home to find.. another item has been paid for!! SCREAM!!! I swear they do it on purpose! One more item to be paid for then I am in the clear for a bit!

Not got anything on the list done, been out with hubby painting the posts and doors out round the farm. It's started to rain so in for a quick cuppa and then back out again (it's so cold out).

Mrs Beatson hello and welcome back.

    Right kettles boiled, back later.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Zero motivation today. Went to see friend this morning, then schlepped round the soaking wet park, getting soaking wet, with the soaking wet dog!!

I hate this weather. I could cheerfully curl up in bed, and not come out again till spring... if we ever get any seasons again!

    BAH!! HUMBUG!!! GRUMP GRUMP GRUMP!!

    Do my daily click-thrus
    Spend an hour doing reviews

Remind the OH to bring in the peppers I asked about yesterday
Sort out lower kitchen cupboards with OH
    [/strike]Read instructions for bread maker
    [strike]Bake coconut pie[/strike]

and for today - my daily list as above without the Slicethepie of course.

    Ring homeopath again
    Find phone no's for decorators
    Ring decorators

  • Afternoon all. Not been on for a couple of days as been busy.
Have done a fair bit of the list, level 1 each day and part of level 2, will do a bit more at the weekend.

Taking DD1 and her friend to the circus tonight, been promising all holidays and it finishes on Sunday so going tonight. Got to work tom morning and then my plans for the weekend are:

    Hoover and mop kitchen/Lounge/Hall
    Hoover Stairs
    Clean Bathroom (again!)
Ebay some stuff - really must get into this as have soo much stuff and DH keeps threatening to take it to tip! (had it ages!)
    Continue with my BM everyday
    WM
Drying, may have to use TD as weather!
Have a lovely sunday roast this week, yummy
    Sort my clothes
    Sort DD1 clothes
    Sort DD2 clothes
Help DD1 sort out her bedroom (well start to)

Pigpen - I sort of caved in to DD1 request for another animal, not a kitten but I have agreed, finally, to her having a hamster on 3 conditions - 1 she completely sorts her bedroom and gets rid of ALL toys she doesn't play with, I will ebay good ones and throw away ALL the pieces of carp she has collected. 2 - she pays for the hamster and cage out of her birthday money.
3 - SHE cleans it out every week or I will let it go (obviously I won't but we won't tell her that) And good luck for this afternoon, I have my course interview on Monday.

Kaz -I too have an OH like you, and by the sounds of it I think it is most men! Mind I have made a cross for my own back by doing everything and not 'asking' him to help - WHY SHOULD I ASK!!!!!

Poohbear - Hope DS is feeling ok today x

Michelle - As everyone else has said, cleaning will still be there so don't worry and as for weaning, my HV told me not to do it, I had tiny babies but they wouldn't sleep through so I started about 3 months and they were fine. Do as you feel right.

Chunky - you are a lovely friend and I know if I was in that situation my 3 friends!!!!! sad would do exactly the same. Nice one. The IOM sounds nice, my DH would love to go there but I think it's more to do with the Motorbikes!!

Vanilla - Congratulations!!!!! As for the toys in the shed nice one. I 'pretended' to throw DD2's pencils and felts in the bin as she had done her masterpieces all over my house and she said 'ok don't mind' and never asked for them back, but toys now that might be different!!!

Hugs for everyone else who needs one and I have missed.

Try to catch up over the weekend.
    Taffy xx

P.S. I too need my washing pegged in a certain way and they have to be the same colour pegs per item!!!!!
Need to sort my life out! :T

Afternoon, sorry, i've only got a few minutes and haven't read much but I had to say....

omg, omg, omg, congratulations Vanilla and hubby!!!!! Fab news!!!

Also, good luck piggers. Soappie - hope your back's a bit better...mine is grumbling but I worked again today with no problems. Tomorrow i've got 6 clients so we'll see how I am after that.

I'm freezing. Think i'll have to put the heating on because i've got two fleeces and my gloves on and my bones hurt!!

Hugs to everyone who needs them and hugs to those who don't need them too. Wow...it's so good to be busy again xx:T

That is apalling. I couldn't get one last year when we got George. DH wont let me have any more. Mind you I refuse to have any more children so I guess we are even :p . I suspect I am destined to be one of those little old ladies with 14 cats and a rather smelly house. Probably all ginger, and all neutered. Roll on retirement.

Vanilla - huge congratulations for you.
Greenbee - if you want some new interview questions then PM me with the sort of thing you use and I will see what I can do. Working in HR doesn't win you any friends either, especially when you have delivered as much bad news as I did pre children. I used to travel round the country closing offices mostly - which made maternity leave look very attractive.
Pigpen - good luck with the interview, and sympathetic  for the home visit.

I am going to head off to the playroom now for a double HHC. We finally worked out today that we could get my chaise longue thingy upstairs via the hole in the kitchen ceiling where the stairs used to be so I now have some floor space. At least I will once I clear some toys away. Putting them in the garage sounds like a great idea but unfortunately it is stuffed to the rafters with DH tools. Need a bigger house - though it is only 18 months since we were living in a tiny terrace with one reception room and a permanent headache.

Bleh... why does baby rice work with everyone else and not with MY child?!

no - not us, still up at 11:30 when we went to bed, and then 5:30. i don't mind that too much though as i was only disturbed once really. and technically more than 5 hours is sleeping through.

    i've flown today:
    • hoovered the LR/kitchen/dining room, including under coffee and dining table
    • bleach down loo
    • picked up toys
lunch out with my friend was nice and only £16, but short as all the kids were tired, and mine seem to be running temps. ds1's ears were redtoo, so he is asleep and ds2 is being grizzly. hope its nothing more than a cold
