Amazing ceremony altogether - had to explain to DS (aged 5) whilst both parents were in tears watching it. A bit of long distance planning - we are determined to get to the Paralympics 2012!
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Can't believe how dark it seems already - fed up of rain now
I did catch up on some sleep - maybe a bit too much  but I have done a load of washing and been shopping, washed up, cleaned kitchen and started some planning! BUT was making some resources and now one bit has got stuck in the laminator and I can't get it to move  so now can't make any more stuff!
Polkadot - the cake is stunning - and down here I can get Stardrops in Asda and Sainsbury's but not Tesco or Morrison's!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
"I'm feeling like a Monday but someday I'll be Saturday night" - Bon Jovi0 -
And the parents who don't pick up until 20 mins after everyone else - 'I waited until there was somewhere to park...' like I am there to mind their child!
If I'm ever going to be late picking up my DD I phone the school and my DD can go and sit outside the office until I get there - only had to do it once when I got stuck in an awful traffic jam for 30mins, annoyingly I could have walked most of the way by the time the traffic started moving :rolleyes:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Oh flip me that dog is adding years to me. Was changing the boys bed heard an awful noise from living room and Bo had escaped again, he has managed to make his leg bleed but is walking fine on it.
So he has now been moved out to a pig house, he's done it too many times now and is gonna hurt himself some of these days badly so at least the pig house is big and he can walk about freely. Mind you he seems pretty p***ed off with the idea at the minute.
Right boys room finished so now onto DD's, it should be easy as everything is packed up. Back later...Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I've hoovered all of upstairs, under the beds the lot.
Plus re done the stairs, main bit of the living room/hall/cloakroom/family room/kitchen.
Going to put the pots in for dinner and then wet wipe our bedrooms.
With the weather set bad I am going to wipe each child's room tomorrow and see who is in need of winter clothing and do a list of who needs what now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Went out shopping and came back like a drowned rat. Most of the main street is flooded. The people who live by the river in the next town have been evacuated.
Done the shopping
Done dailies.
I WM load done.
I bag of carp from wardrobe sorted for charity shop.
Off to start tea catch you all later.
AnWsMuM Those cocktails look very nice. Sounds like you had a wonderful time.
Soappie Good luck for your DD on her courses. Hope its not noisy tonight for you.
Vanilla Hope Bos leg is ok and he settles down.0 -

Afternoon - I can't keep up with you gabbers so i'll just say a big hello to everyone. Managed 6 treatments today and my hand doesn't hurt at all! Yeahhhh! DH went to Ik*a whilst I was working and got the wall mounted ps workstation for me. It's perfect and will keep all my work stuff together.
I'm going to go and fill the workstation and then veg out. Children want to watch x factor so we might all watch that in a bit. This work lark makes you tired! On the plus front....I had one appointment left to fill before Christmas and it's been booked today so that's a bit of guaranteed income for us.
Speak to you all later xx0 -
Boddy - I hope your chimney breast is Ok and that you don't get flooded. It must be quite grim up there. We've got heavy rain again but fortunately, where I live, we've never (touch wood!) had any problems with flooding.
I'm beginning to lose the will to live with this report. I'm almost there but am quite mind boggled and slightly overloaded by researching 'sustainable communities' 'urban renaissance' and other such ridiculous terms. But, I'm determined to finish it today so that it's off my list of 'things to do' and won't need to be looked at tomorrow.
I think I might go and find a restorative and sustaining G&T to help me through...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
