Blimey! Is that the time! I've been so engrossed in this effing report that I've not even hardly started that G&T I poured over an hour ago and haven't even thought about dinner.

Hey ho - I guess I'll give it until 8.30 and then go foraging.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

    Polkadot go for it.

I've done 2 sink fulls of dishes and brought up the bin and put recycling out, so think thats me for tonight but will keep going with the washing. Hubby wants a pizza tonight and think we'll chill out with a dvd.

Right i'm away see you all tomorrow.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

After the late-night chat (sorry about the dreams Toots... obviously the champagne worked well!) I had a nice long lie-in today and then went shopping to try to find a wedding present, new baby present and 18th birthday present for my god-daughter. I'd had an inspired idea about going to a local place that sells antique silver (as I can quite often get something unusual for less that I'd have to spend on something very ordinary). But it has closed  . I managed to find the baby present and birthday present, but still haven't sorted the wedding present, and I need it by next weekend (wedding was in France in June, and I'm seeing the couple next weekend).

Flower - the techies live here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=29 and they're very helpful

Sexymouse - great smilies confetti.gif Delia's coffee & walnut cake is great (you don't have to use her filling which is very rich), but walnuts last if you store them in an airtight container. Have a think about your gym membership - it depends how much it is, but mine is £30 a month which is cheaper than new clothes, and while I'm there I can't eat or spend money (and I can use the sauna for free if I need to wind down). It's also cheaper than therapy! I love body balance as well, although I haven't had time to go for ages. At the moment I swim or do workouts in the morning, and then go to yoga a couple of times a week after work. I need to get back to BB and Pilates.

I hope everyone is surving the weather and no on is in danger of being washed away.

Polka - you should DEFINITELY do the cake competition 23_5_133.gif

Not even going to attempt working out how much older I am, but I'm sitting here with a fan on at the moment!:rotfl:

DS and DH are wearing fleeces. Oh well, it'll be over in a few minutes.

I had pelvic inflammatory disease when I was 11 and was told that too.. talk about laugh in their face!! lol

Me too....but later! Had miscarriage at 24, but GP did nothing. 6 months later, I'd changed docs, seen a gynae and he operated that night, but the damage was done and I've had flare ups of P.I.D ever since. (Unfortunately masking the grumbling appendix that popped a few years ago) Anyway, doc said I'd be lucky to have kids, back and forth to fertility clinic, but without intervention DD came along. Five years later, more major surgery, and they said definitely no more kids, so 2 years later DS arrived. And we're expected to believe the doctors know everything?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
